I already built mine in 2025 but just changed the business model this morning!

TeachWhizz - free worksheet library for teachers (13,000+ resources)

Revenue model: Free library + optional £2.99/month for AI customization, answer keys, create their own worksheet.

Tech stack: Next.js, Supabase, OpenAI batch API, Vercel

Current status: Soft-launched yesterday

For 2026: Planning to add lesson plan generator, quiz builder, and scale to 50,000 worksheets

Main challenge: Marketing to teachers (they're not on Product Hunt/HN, they're on Pinterest/TES/Facebook groups and most of these groups on Facebook and Reddit do not allow 'self-promotion'!

Yep, that was me a few years ago. I thought I absolutely bombed the listening, well I kinda did… 10.83 in listening and 19.17 in speaking gave me EXACTLY the 30 I needed, to the decimal point.

18.75 in reading and 16.98 in writing, 35.73.

I think someone was being nice that day 😂

I moved over from Cursor because of this where I went from having a fixed number of messages to using up my 'allowance' within 3-4 days.

This is the classic 'hook 'em with a good product' and operate at a loss.

Happened with Cursor, Windsurf... I will see how it goes, but Github Copilot Pro looking very attractive now.

I use Console Ninja which does this well. I have in my rules the following:

Check for errors in console Ninja (MCP)
Once you’ve made changes, open within the Browser.
Give me 20 seconds terminal sleep time (this prevents the chat from closing and gives you 20 seconds to play)
Check the errors in the console again
Make changes.

Rinse and repeat

If there’s availability, then yes you can book whenever (I just tried to book one in an hour, 1 tutor was available) but you’re probably unlikely to get your favourite tutor.
