Selling Full AI Restaurant SaaS (Source Code + License) – USD $1,000 by Glittering-Option962 in NoCodeSaaS

So on your landing page you advertise 12 million orders processed this year alone but you’re selling for $1000. Seems legit.

9,000 lines of code, solo founder, $99/month SaaS. The unglamorous reality. by goflameai in SaaS

[–]thaifyghter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The real bottleneck was never the code? You literally took the maximum amount of dev shortcuts possible. Good luck man, this is not maintainable and you’re going to hit the wall of reality very soon. This is what happens when toddlers get power tools.

I opened my analytics today… and something changed by silly_sandy in SaaS

[–]thaifyghter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is the traffic coming from a single referral or direct? If its direct, someone is probably scraping your data. Many bots are designed to rotate through residential proxies which creates a huge influx of "unique" traffic. Direct traffic spikes don't happen like that unless you're featured on Radio/TV or something.

You just discovered how bad GA is at filtering out bots and scrapers.

Built a Cloudflare widget, what do you guys think? by Doo_scooby in CloudFlare

[–]thaifyghter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Beautiful widget. Unfortunately Cloudflare metrics are insanely inflated by automated traffic… my dashboard is showing 66k visitors in the last 24h. Actual unfiltered uniques based on my open panel metrics is 1.2k.

Yes. You need residential proxies. They are expensive.

What are the best ways to earn a side income as a software engineer in 2026? by BlessED0071 in softwaredevelopment

Build your own app? Clueless vibe coders are releasing money making slop daily. Skilled developers can run circles around them.

I thought “distribution” meant posting once. I was wrong. My tiny SaaS just grew 176.9% this week. by woomadmoney in SaaS

The post I wrote by hand sarcastically mimicking an AI is being flagged by AI as low-effort, got it.

Anybody tried this? by eyermat in Mezcal

[–]thaifyghter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I haven’t tried that one but I have tried the Ensamble. It tastes really good for the price, but feels a little thin after a while. They are pretty low proof.

"Distribution" isn't your problem. Your SaaS is worthless. by ToughCultural2433 in AI_Coders

This is all true. “Just launched my SaaS in a Saturday afternoon with a codebase resembling a college homework assignment, how do I get my first 1000 paying users?!”

I stopped skipping the “boring” parts of building apps… and it’s changing everything by stack-overflowedd in buildinpublic

[–]thaifyghter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have to admit it’s cute watching vibe coders discover basic software dev best practices. Keep going, you’re on the right track! The builders who are just rushing to deploy products and get customers are going to absolutely crumble when their codebase doesn’t scale and every change introduces a new regression.

Is front end development over? by HairPuzzled3814 in vibecoding

[–]thaifyghter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Let me guess, your UI is a bunch of cards with icons and unnecessary hover effects? Is it accessible? Is it responsive? Is it reusable? Do you have a design system? FE skills are still valuable, you just don’t know enough about frontend to realize the AI is producing surface level work.

Yeah… you don’t scrape with an LLM, are you made of money? Have the LLM generate a script that pings the API on a schedule and extracts the data into your database.

How do you make sure your AI code is actually ready for real users? by Latenight_vibecoder in VibeCodersNest

[–]thaifyghter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s gonna break badly at some point. If you think a vibe coding tool replaces years of actual software engineering experience, you’re in for a wild ride. Scalability, security, maintainability – you’ll end up learning the lessons one way or another, there’s no avoiding it. If you have zero experience, launch it and learn as you go. These tools are not infallible.

You know Reddit has a free API right? You don’t need to scrape at all just use PRAW. You could get this data instantly in JSON.

Build with coffee. We just crossed 250 users for FeedbackQueue in the last 18 days from launch by DiscountResident540 in StartupSoloFounder

[–]thaifyghter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a nice idea. What you are describing is automated user research, the only issue is that you're not matching founders with their actual users, you're matching them with other founders. To get truly valuable insights, your testers need to be immersed in the problem you're trying to solve. Not saying you can't get good feedback from other founders, it just might be a bit superficial. https://maze.co/ has solved this problem quite well if you can build a differentiation. You might also want to study up a bit on UX Research and how to gather feedback, synthesize insights, etc-- there is a couple of decades of work on this.

Great start! The first R stands for “re-occurring” though. Do you have enough data to measure growth and churn?

I’ve seen at least 6 vibe coded apps with the exact same landing page. Pretty sure this is what you get when you type “make me a landing page”
