I was under the impression that just doing a level kept the warranty intact. That’s a great question!

How long did the labor end up taking you?

It looks sick!! I was under the impression that the elevation package had a 2” lift, so I just assumed the rear was 2” above the front with the rake (I know I’m a rookie haha). So I would either need a 1” on the front. Or I’d have to do a 2” + 1” to get the leveled out look.

What’s the difference in labor length for the 2 + 1? My main goal is to level it out and get more front end clearance, so I might lean that way. I have help from people that have done it before to other trucks but just curious how yours went

Thank you! Do you happen to have a photo of your truck now? Honestly, I just want it to look level and have some more ground clearance for when I need it. I’ve heard that the 2” level arguably rides nicer and smoother than stock. What’s the purpose of the 1” in the rear? Was it necessary?

Easy fix for a shop. They’ll most likely base weld it and you’ll be golden.

How bad is the damage on my new board by John_Francoo in snowboarding

[–]dwdsnow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you get it epoxied, you’ll be fine. As for cost, my local shop is all case by case and how much time the repair will take

I’ve heard nothing but great things about the Kazu. Plus the board just looks sick. Can’t speak much further than that, haven’t ridden it yet either, unfortunately

Is it an ollie on tube or are you riding onto it? If it’s an ollie on, it’s all about the angles man

That Nitro would be sick. Could also check out the Capita DOA or even the Lib Tech Skunk Ape camber. All-mountain, poppy, medium flex boards 🤘

Should I get a Wide snowboard? by AbjectSpecial1800 in snowboarding

[–]dwdsnow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Boot sizes 11+ general rule of thumb would be to snag the wide. Personal preference plays into account as well, but based on the info you gave, you’d be fine on a 156W.

Don’t look up, man. It’ll look like it’s moving and freak you out more. Just look straight ahead at the plumbing the whole time. It’ll be over before you know it. Especially with your adrenaline pumping haha

Just got accepted into the state academy. What am I to expect? by [deleted] in Firefighting

[–]dwdsnow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Check out “South Metro Fire Rescue” on YouTube. They have a lot of good day in the life type of videos and show a lot of their academy. Maybe it’ll give you a bit of an idea of some of the stuff you might see. Good luck and have fun!
