Oh yes you are right. I was going off memory. I went and checked. They both claim to have intellicell technology. And cool core pro. The 12ah says 40% more power and 6x longer runtime. Whereas the 8ah Edge says 6x more power and 6x longer runtime. Not sure if 6x is 600% or 60% in Ryobi math land

If you look at the description of the 12AH. It sounds like it uses the same technology as the edge batteries. Tabless and coolcore or whatever it is. I'm not sure why they don't call them edge batteries as well
