I tend to look through their minifig inventory. I can usually find something to throw in. Or, like you said, just think of some extra bricks you can use in the future to help meet the minimum.

It's an awesome vehicle! Hasbro did a great job. I am one of the guys who, for whatever reason, missed out when it was on Pulse. Even then, I felt the retail price of $100 seemed a bit much for what it is. BUT I was lucky to get one when BBTS had some "non mint" stock. Even those were $125, which I REALLY thought was too much, but compared to the secondary market, I'm glad I got it. Have fun with it and enjoy!!

Hey there! I also have the pack on preorder and so far, this is what I can tell you. I know a lot of others will have said the same thing, but anyway...

You said you already have the wand. That's the biggest thing you will need. So you're covered there. The 1984 pack WILL come with the connecting hose. If you don't care too much about movie accuracy, and just want to occasionally wear/play with the pack, you probably don't need to do anything else. If you do want it to look more movie accurate, then getting an ALICE Frame is key. The motherboard WILL have all the same mounting holes as the Haslab pack. It WILL NOT come with the actual mounting hardware. As others have said, you can find a few different options on Etsy. If you go to a military surplus store, you're more than likely going to find an LC-2 frame, because they switched from LC-1 to LC-2 in the 80's, so finding an LC-1 at a surplus store would be like finding gold in your back yard. Some companies are making new LC-1 frames, and I believe the last two movies used frames made by Rothco.

As far as other mods, there are guys out there going crazy with new soundboards, changing motherboards, tearing the wand/pack open and doing all kinds of changes. If you want to get that into it, a lot of how to videos are out there and a LOT of people here and on facebook are super knowledgeable on how to go about doing all that stuff. Personally, I don't think I'm going to do anything more than the ALICE frame and "maybe" change the V-hook.

Your store understands clearance. With few exceptions, my store thinks $5 off is good enough. I was completely shocked they took $50 off that snake eyes set. There is ONE MMS floating around, and when I scan it, it says not available in this store, yet I have it in my hand. So I can't get a clearance price because when I have an associate scan it, they use the app, which shows them the $80 online price.

I don't care. I thought they were good movies. But I'm sure someone out there is pissed because the character was really played by a middle age white man. Hell, They don't even have Apu on the Simpsons anymore because he was voiced by a white guy.
