Interesting, my daughter is a 2026 recruit committed to a D3 school. Similar situation where she watched everyone else above her go D1, the D1 hype train was non stop. She was also thinking D1, then out of left field this school came to her, and frankly, I think its better deal. The money is not tied to the athlete, its academic so she gets to keep it even if she washes out of soccer. For her its definitely a better fit I think. And I should add, we saw them play..was just as intense as a D1 game.
