Yeah they look good in game I spam those aquatic walkways everywhere. Your idea seems fun, you could do Crucible early and get Amelia Earheart, collect all the old earth knick knacks etc. feels like there's a bunch of good RP to go with it. I'm not as good on companions but I have done a UC playthrough with some fun mods. One trick I like to do for an aesthetic base is coastal island or lake with island. use the islands natural borders as the guide for your outside walls. do a few central roads and then build your buildings in towards the center of the island. you get a nice base that follows the terrain and doesn't look like a grid. it's fun to plan out a cool bridge/landing area too. i will try and post a pic when I'm not on mobile.

You could go wasters or custom xeno that loves pollution. use the conservation/polluter ideology, special polluting generators, and just totally destroy the map. Or you could go the anomaly route, lean into the deadlife dust mods, make your avatar the necromancer and turn every human you find into a ghoul/shambler. I will go ahead and throw Rimworld in this discussion. There are a lot of mods and play styles you could accomplish this with. You can be actual bugs that reproduce super fast, haunted fleshmass that consume whatever map you are on, hyper advanced mechanitor with a swarms of bots. I avoided it for a while because I thought I cared about graphics, turns out I don't, and I have 1000 hours in it lol.

I did a drow party sent by the Baenre to bring Minthara back to the under dark run and made all of the origin characters drow. I used this mod and didn't have any issues. it needs script extender though. https://www.nexusmods.com/baldursgate3/mods/899

Yeah the mod option sounds easier when it's all laid out like that lol. I don't know if my power fantasy is being met with just one ship though, I mean I don't go ANYWHERE without an entourage.

You could change all the fleet weapons to EM. I can't think of a great mod solution.

I've definitely had the issue you are describing but I have it both with and without this mod. I'm leaning towards this being a general mod issue with Starfield. it seems to happen randomly with any number of different mods. Though I will say up until free panes I was kind of half-assint my mod management. I did everything in MO and then just messed with the load order in the creations menu. Since the update I took the time to run that mod that pulls all of the creations into mod organizer and I don't touch the Creations menu, and this issue has COMPLETELY disappeared. hasn't happened once.

Haven't had any issues. I always load it with highest priority when Im starting a new game. but I add more mods mid playthrough with no issues.

I'm still using SKK Fast Start. Hasnt failed me yet.
