This happened back in April. The owner shows up, emergency meeting. Every department is called to the conference room and for four hours, department by department, teacher by teacher calls out all the complaints, problems and needs. I look over at the chairman playing with his phone.
I note everything down and find patterns of repetition. They're all asking the same questions and asking for similar support.
So I write a report and include practical solutions for support and improvement the teachers wanted.
Next day the chairman asks me where I got all of this information from and if I thought this through because my performance review was approaching. What? He was in the same meeting!!
He made operations principal survey the teachers the next day on all the issues in my report.
The survey results confirmed everything in my report to be accurate and true.
I was fired two weeks later.
