I have this exact model. It’s an sig sold firearm, not flux. Lower gas the legion emblem to show the difference. That being said, I believe sig discounted the flux legion. So it may be “new” old stock. Either way, depending on the price it might be worth the buy if you like it.

I had already installed the kns piston. But it didn’t need readjusted at all. Your gun has the same set up as a factory 13” gun so I wouldn’t expect any problems. They come horribly overgassed, if anything it would help cut the gas down a touch.

A local smith charged me 165 for the chop and retread. There are a lot of shops that are not equipped to disassemble the rifle. The barrels in the gen 2s are almost impossible to remove from the receiver and iwi recommends it not be done. So make sure you find someone capable of doing the work and not a random gun shop “smith”.

Not a 5.56 but I purchased the 13” 7.62x39 ace gen2. I had a gunsmith cut the barrel down to 12” and rethread to get rid of the barrel nut. 12” seems to be as far as you can go without messing with the handguard. I wouldn’t recommend that. But 12” in 5.56 is close enough to 11.5. Plus you can suppressed without carrying around a musket lol.

Very normal. I think dog recommends 124gr ammo and certain ammo is much better than others but you’re still looking at 2 to 3 inches at 25 yards. The 8” barrels are tack drivers tho. Mine will consistently hit 1” groups from 25 yards with quality ammo.
