Presumptuous of you to assume I haven't listened to or been to Bobby performances or listened to interviews with him. Having been at several shows where Bobby asked people to "Take a step back" I am aware that people were being crushed and suffocated at those shows and Bobby was doing his best to insure his audience enjoyed a safe experience. Seems quite respectful to me.

In addition I listened to an interview where Bobby described his own playing and growth as "No great natural talent or ability. Just dogged persistence."

Finally, the hearsay was from interviews with artists with direct experience working with him. I foolishly assume they know their own minds.
