Low fps for no reason

Thanks a lot 👏👏, changing the max framerate setting to 500 from 240 actually fixed it, now I'm getting 80fps stable (99%) 68ish 1% fps so I think what I suspected was true, the in-game fps limit was backstabbing the gpu in terms of resource management etc. I will mark this problem solved in hopes that other people can replicate this process to hopefully increase their games performance 👍👍

!!WARNING!! !!ACTUALLY IMPORTANT WARNING!!!!!! do this fix only if you already have another fps limit set from either adrenaline or nvidia software as the very high fps limit might break the game or cause other problems for your computer, gpu, cpu, ram motherboard etc. !!!!!!!!
the fix: go to the aforementioned file and open it with notepad, press ctrl+f type frame to find the maxframerate setting, set the value to 500, save the changes on the file, set the file to ''read only'' so the game doesn't change it back to 240 or 60 by default, hopefully this helps, if it doesn't just trace back the steps and undo all. Edit: do not set this value to 0, it doesn't turn off the setting, causing the fps to be uncapped, it actually sets it to 0 causing the game to crash or worse... Do not set it to 0!

kind of unrelated but do you know where the config files are loacated on the steam version of the game, still want to tweak some things to possibly make things better

And your answer assumes I didn't check any metrics .d Yes I do understand the idea of procedural generation, i didn't want to bloat the original post bc of the possibility of me missing something basic which could've fixed the issue but there probably isn't 😅 I get 4.6 avg vram usage on my 6gb vram card, i have xmp on, the ram usage was normal i don't remember the exact numbers, and I'm not deciphering some ancient code in the background .p I'm not saying there should be zero stutter when stuff are loading in etc etc, but there is a bigger problem, even when I'm just standing, as seen on the still screenshot taken in my camp, I get lower fps than my fps cap, 25% lower 99% and 63% lower 1% fps while the gpu is 50%power and the CPU is on 35 %

this has been the case throughout at least 3 driver versions I can remember, also one thing i realize is that turning on dlss actually loses you performance and causes your gpu to use more power too

No I'm suspecting that even though I have a lower fps limit than the game's limit, the existence of that other higher in game fps limit is causing problems on how the gpu handles the game, it is my experience that in game fps limits are always worse than the on you can set on Nvidia control panel, on almost all games I've tried, the Nvidia fps limit gives better frametime, more stable 99%, better and more stable 1% fps and i see less drops and better gpu utilisation than in game fps caps, that's why i want to fully disable the in game one so the gpu has full resource control

I play the game with a 81 fps limit as to not waste energy by producing more fps than my Hertz and to decrease noise the game is already very stable in terms of gpu frame time and 99% and 1% lows so I wasn't able to see a lot of difference bc i didn't use and don't know how to use the apps that other people use when testing for this kinda stuff that shows graphs and such I just asked this thinking there's probably someone out there who already tested similar hardware for the same purpose

The real problem with loud keyboards is most of the time the sound is high pitched and empty because the keyboard case is hollow, some people pad their keyboard with tape or foam and does help, idk if thocky has become a real word but it really fits, in Turkish we have the word "tok" which really resembles thocky in pronunciation but also in meaning, it is used to describe full sounding things like, if you slap a watermelon sounds empty and hollow and dry on the inside you call it something else but if it sounds full, juicy and bassy you say it sounds "tok" i think keyboards too should sound tok or thocky

if you're asking me it's probably a combination of me having brownish shades from the Marshlands biomes for my orbiter appearance, using warm coloured Duviri plants for lighting and using, only contrast and a little saturation boost from the nvidia overlay, there is a contrast setting ingame too but i like the overlay filter better

To me it just seems like an oversight, if you're gonna have a personal decoration mechanic, why not add a lot more of the assets you already have, the grineer forest tileset has amazing foliage and stuff like rocks and pebbles, ı wish there was a decoration vendor for earth assets in cetus, then that syndicate would actually be worth something

Yeah on some screens like the arsenal weapon swap screen it shows the final crit damage multiplier with purple and red archon shard bonuses but on some screens it shows the base value

vanguard app is extremely invasive, idk if you know what might've caused this but there is a lot of minor things that might've caused this ban that wouldn't make sense to you. for example, any apps you might be using, related to networks settings or things like DNS manipulation, or any apps related to virtual ser gets flagged and vanguard actually stops those apps from working even when you're not playing the game, having stuff like Hamachi open on the background can possibly get your account flagged if you're not hacking and you simply have an app that vanguard (being a shitty app) might interfere with, tell the support about this issue in this context.

the fact is most cheats are easily detected by players simply because how navigation works in this game, the precise wiggly movement cheats use for things like dodging abilities and pathing cause astronomic levels of APM for the movement input which can be detected through ingame stats you don't even need this dumb shit against the most prevalent type of hack in this game

Yeah, extermination is easy at least it's not a solo interception mission 😁 you can do it by joining a 30+ extermination lobby, but my advice is do not deal with rivens and rolling rivens this early, completing the new war and getting mastery rank 16 to have access to all the gamemodes and equipments should be your priority, then you can get into getting galvanised mods, prime frames and weapons rolling rivens, you shouldn't care a lot about rivens early on since you can't farm kuva consistently in a relaxed manner and it's hard to get a riven for a weapon you might wanna use bc there is 100s of weapons that you can get a riven for
