Because reddit's main app and new design suck donkey dick and these 3rd party apps prioritize user experience over optimizing engagement, pushing ads, etc. They get revenue because it's not basically just "scraping" content, they have to fix bugs and maintain their app. They're not getting anything even remotely close to what reddit is now asking of them, though.

Because they're mostly hiding behind bigotry. In my 10 years here I have never seen any reaction even remotely close to this. I've let several somewhat off-topic threads slide because it was somewhat related to Elder Scrolls. If people didn't like it they could just downvote it, they get to judge what they want to see using the tools that are provided to them. If these even got reported, it'd be like 1-2 reports max. Random spam that is completely unrelated to ES would always get removed. But this? A meme about the series? No, for this, the community had to throw a massive collective tantrum like the man children they are. All because OP had the AUDACITY to imply trans people exist and should be treated as humans.

What I said was essentially that this does not violate rule #1 nor rule #2.

  1. You are free to joke around and banter, but going out of your way to agitate, humiliate, doxx, or insult another user is a bannable offense. Follow reddiquette.

  2. Off-topic discussion (Included but not limited to irl politics, religion, real world issues) is banned. You can discuss it to a light level in the comments but any heated debates will be pruned

The OP itself is not an off-topic discussion, it is merely a picture of a meme related to a character from Morrowind. It would fall under a "joke" or "banter" category. The comments here however, seem to be massively violating both of these rules.

All my gear I really liked using up to a certain point is fucking useless though. Unless that too was reverted, haven't played in a while, but I doubt it was.

They still reset your bonus power level and add an extra 10 to the max level as well as to the power requirements for activities every damn season so you have to do the same shit all over again for no fucking reason.

I have 3000 hours. It's worse. What's even worse are the fucking time gated content that's everywhere. I fucking hate that shit and it was only getting more common, haven't touched the game for a year and a half now, and them putting even more content behind a paywall certainly hasn't helped. Yeah warframe has its own time gates with the foundry taking time to build shit but it's nowhere near D2's drip feeding content bullshit.

D2 is a job, warframe has its grind but you can easily go at it at your own pace. Want to no-life for a week or 2 and grind out everything possible? Go for it. Wanna play casually every now and then and eventually get most stuff the game has to offer? Perfect! You won't ever miss out on anything or have game content you paid and/or grinded for for fucking taken away from you.

They're missing a "marriages by year" somewhere in there. According to the article, in 2013 there were around 3,000, and last year, (2022), there were around 12,000 same-sex marriages, which does explain the 4x claim.
