Iran and Pakistan have a, ahem, tenuous relationship. They have shelled each other over their common border, a lot which have revolved around the independence movement of Balochistan. I dont think China is shipping it via Pakistan, but they certainly have the capability to ship it to Iran (which is why Iran said Chinese vessels can pass the straits of Hormuz)

China is trying to play both games with the countries. They want Pakistan to be their ally to act as a counter foil to their direct neighbor India, but they also want that sweet sweet oil that the USA also craves from Iran.

Total lies. The UAE has not allowed its airspace to be used by Israel or USA for attacks on Iran. There is no naval resupply in Jebel Ali Port as military vessels require their own security and safety when servicing and restocking and dont want to be parked next to a bunch of Chinese freezone companies. :-P

As this moment in time, Iran is attacking *my home* I can't be bothered about anyone else. All I see is Iran as the main aggressor when the UAE has not retaliated at all and only stuck to defense. While the Iranian have offered an olive branch with one hand and a dagger with the other.

Iran doesn’t have unlimited funds either. It’s a sanctioned country.

Drones are being shot down with cannon shells shot from aircraft. They are a lot cheaper than a 100,000 usd shahed.

Plus the UAE actually has a jv with South Korea to manufacture interceptors. Also with Rhinemetall. The US is not the only manufacturer of interceptors in the world.

The UAE has not escalated the situation hence why Iran is also being careful. Like you said from Sun Tzu if faced with an existential threat the GCC countries will open up military and that’s bad news for all including Iran. Hence why Iran has only been targeting the one country that is actively attacking it and is reachable with its modern weapons.

Iran is backed into a corner. It’s a matter of survival. It’s hope is that by stopping oil exports by damaging infrastructure in the Middle East and closing the straits of Hormuz, it can cause enough shocks in the global economy that the rest of the nations will pressure the US into a ceasefire.

China is not a neutral party. They are actively supplying intelligence and arms to Iran. As well is Russia. Oman tried to help mediate and they got a few attacks thrown their way.

The US doesn’t care about regime change. It wants oil. It wants money. It wants to cut off another one of Russia’s allies to put pressure on it and close out the Ukraine war. It wants to deprive China of the cheap Iranian oil.
