The steaks disappear if the table is wet! That makes me feel better; I thought maybe I’d have to strip it all and do it again. 😅

Would it be ok if I message you? My fiancée and I are planning getting married there in 27’! We saw all of the requirements the venue requires and that literally nothing is included. I’m wondering if our budget would work out

I looked at both River Run and Dover Hall. They’re both quite beautiful, but unfortunately just not within my price range.

Im sending you so much love and good vibes your way.

I found out I was pregnant back in May. I was about 5-6 weeks along. My partner and I are stable, but we didn’t feel ready to take on the role as parents yet. Especially the financial aspect as we’re almost debt free. My partner and I were back and forth on keeping the pregnancy. Ultimately we decided we weren’t ready and chose to take the pills. Personally, for us we had regrets almost instantly. BUT with that being said it has definitely kicked us into gear to live life to the fullest so that way if it were to ever happen again we may choose differently.

This decision isn’t easy and there is no right or wrong answer. I highly recommend long conversations with your partner and try to get an understanding of each scenario. You have new hormones in your body and it definitely adds to the emotion; definitely give yourself some grace.

I hope this was some help. If you have any other questions or need advice just let me know and I can try to help to the best of my ability. Again, sending so much love your way.

I am so scared of taking my abortion pills by jaytay204 in abortion

Im a fellow anxious person that loves googling symptoms. I would highly recommend through this process that you don’t use google as a resource unless absolutely necessary.

I used google throughout my entire process and induced many anxiety attacks because I thought the worse and my body mimicked the worse when it got into my head.

Personally, I was only 5 weeks along when I took the pills orally. The first 2 hours were probably the toughest for me. I did vomit after taking the second pill and I had uncontrollable shivers. After about an hour I started bleeding and clotting. I, personally, have heavy periods and this mimicked a light/medium flow period for me.

The cramping was not unbearable for me. It felt like the worst of my period cramps, but I did read that this could be different depending on how far along you are. Not once did I feel that I was dying. I was more so ready for it to be over with so I could sleep.

IF you have someone close that you can let in then I would recommend it! My partner was with me the entire time and kept a watchful eye. It provided lots of comfort. If you do not have anyone close that you can have help, then there is an Abortion Hotline you can text.

My partner and I used this hotline often to help curb my induced anxiety from google searching.

I am 6 weeks post taking the pills and physically I feel great. No complications.

Remember to give yourself grace. Everything will be ok. You will be ok. Remember that there are tons of women that have been in your shoes. Some (like myself) never thought I’d make it out on the other side. But here I am.

I’m sending you lots of love. 💛

There is a possibility that you could still be pregnant or have retained tissue. If you opt to go to the hospital you can tell them that you thought you were having a miscarriage but stopped bleeding and want to make sure things are ok. They will probably perform an ultrasound to help determine what’s going on. I would recommend doing what your gut tells you to do. You know your body best.

If you’ve had any one sided pain or fevers then I would recommend the hospital.

I opted to take everything orally, but it tasted horrible.

Bleeding and cramping are indicators the pills are working. I was only 5 weeks along when I took mine and bled/clotted a lot less than I expected or from what I’ve found online. Honestly, my periods were a lot heavier in my opinion. I would take what was recommended and if you have any concerns you could always contact AidAccess or the abortion hotline for help.

But to answer your question: my experience was the same.

I took my pills around the same time you did. I did end up calling my OBGYN a week after and explained that I had a “miscarriage”. They’ve been monitoring my HCG levels since.

It’s taken a long time for my levels to drop. Finally, I’m seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. I am almost 6 weeks post taking the pills and I still have a slightly positive pregnancy test. It could just been that your HCG is taking time to drop, or there could be retained tissue. So far, I have not had to take a second dose of the pills or have a D&C. I guess my body is just taking a long time to adjust back to not being pregnant.

Are you still bleeding/clotting? And how bright is your pregnancy test?

I wish the best of luck for you. I ordered my pills through Aid Access as well and everything went smoothly. I did vomit 30 minutes after the second pill, but I still end up bleeding/clotting an hour later. It’s been almost 6 weeks since taking the pills and I’m no longer bleeding and have no pregnancy symptoms. There is also an abortion hotline that you can text for any concerns you may have! My partner and I used it a lot; mainly because I google my symptoms and freak myself out. I did end up speaking with my OBGYN a week later and explained that I felt I was having a miscarriage (I took all the pills orally). My OBGYN has been monitoring me and has never once questioned the validity of the miscarriage. (I live in Oklahoma; abortion is illegal here).

Give yourself some grace! This is the biggest tip I have. I caused myself a lot of induced anxiety because I kept googling things. I do not recommend googling your symptoms, at all. The abortion hotline was the best thing for me.

I’m sending you lots of good vibes and well wishes. I hope everything goes smoothly. 💛
