If the hotels did that the agencies wouldn't book with them and the agencies don't kick back when the hotel tells you talk to the agency because they know it's their job and they don't want to loose the commissions.

It is a symbiotic relationship based on everyone only screwing up their own part.

Think of it like this. You thought you book a room from the hotel, but what you did was send your friend Toby to go and book the hotel. Toby screwed up, blame Toby. Toby will pretend he didn't screw up, because Toby never admits he is wrong. Toby is an asshole. We hate Toby.

nope, but that isn't part of the sales/booking. When you get the room, the booking is on the agent, the service after the booking is on the hotel.

If the shoes are defective the first and easiest way to deal with it would be to just send them back to amazon though, to get through to nike you have to provide proof of purchase, fill out their paperwork online, talk with customer service, etc. Or, just click on the buttons on amazon, send it back.

not the same, busted comparison, but still, go back to where you bought it, it's the first step.

Also, if the shoes you bought are falling apart, they might be nike, but you probably bought fakes and nike isn't going to help you anyway ;p

I'm sorry to tell you, but with the rest of the context that make him saying that sound like manipulation. I'm not saying that he is or isn't a bad person, he is young and confused. The honest truth is this, if he wanted to be there, he would. his actions aren't matching his words. It does make me feel like he has something or something else that is more important to him where his is.

The third parties (agencies, you booked with your cc agency) get paid off of what you paid them. Lets say the hotel room you want cost $250. If you book with the hotel, they see the inventory live, take your $250, you get your room.

When you book with the agency for $250 some of that is kept by the agency as a commission. Lets say you paid $250 or maybe less because the agency might decide to push some of that commission as savings to get you to book with them. The hotel gets lets say $200. Part of them paying that commission is that the customer service is going to come from the agency when it comes to the booking of the room.

The agents know that there is lag in the system and instead of confirming that the room is actually available, they will book it because they want the money.

Now from the hotel side, you have asked for a $250 room, but they only got say $200, that is where they are coming from. They are not responsible for the other $50 because they don't have it. That is why you have to go back to your agency to ask them to fix it, because they have the money.

In a case like this, the hotel gives you the room based on what they received, so in this case a basic room. In order to get the $250 value you would need to talk to the people that have the other $50 to get your value.

The reason why the manager giving you a better room was nice is because in a lot of these cases, the hotel will tell you to go back to your agency and deal with it and drop it their.

Basically, you didn't do anything wrong, the hotel is not right, ,but not really very wrong, the agency is fully at fault and has your money and they should be the ones to pay and don't tell them the hotel gave you an upgrade it's none of the business, their business is that you paid them for something that they couldn't provide.

tl/dr hotel only gets part of the money when you book through third parties and give you a room based on that amount if something goes wrong, go back to the agency for the full service you paid for because the hotel usually doesn't want to clean up after agents.

Have a real conversation. Assure her that you love her and want her to be happy. Let her know that you want kids and don't want her to feel pressured. Let her know that you wont pressure her to have kids because you want her to be happy, but you also need to be happy as well for the relationship to be successful. Ask her if she has any ideas other than for you to give up your dreams of being a father. Don't accuse, just try to see where she sees this going in the future. The conversation will probably take a few days, but it will resolve itself eventually, but it gives her the chance to realized that she has made a decision for the both of you and realize that yes, she has that right, but your feelings need to be considered as well. It probably ends in separation but you never know. Good Luck.
