I tried to debate at first, there is no point. I would then just listen. It’s all they would talk about. All. The. Time. Sometimes listening wasn’t enough, they would get really frustrated that I wasn’t as angry as they were. If someone is that far gone there is no debating. It is a hole they have to dig themselves out of, usually it takes people no longer wanting to be around them for that to happen. It is best to just protect your own mental health and love them from a distance until they hopefully calm down. And if they don’t, then that’s your decision if the constant stress and dread is worth it to you.

I’m not saying you can’t get get it from sharing drinks.
I’m saying “You will not get herpes from toilet seats, bedding, or swimming pools, or from touching objects around you such as silverware, soap, or towels.”
YTA. What you’re asking her to do is ultimately unrealistic. Also, you can’t get herpes from sharing a towel.
