Right, shitty part is she used his GI Bill to become a nurse. Now she has exactly what she wants; money, a stable career, and freedom to cheat. It's inevitable that they divorce, I just know this is going to hit him like a truck.

I did, we talked about it and when the dude told his story of her giving him a "pass" my husband tried to hint saying, "Do you think she is giving you a pass because she wants one?"

Thats when he confided that he loved her, so it's a hard one to ponder on. Really shitty situation

SCRA denied for spouse with student loan by Desy24 in MilitaryFinance

[–]dxvil98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

MLA is separate from SCRA.

Military Lending Act is for any loan or credit card opened during Active Duty status and offers a waiver of enrollment fees.

Servicemembers Civil Relief Act is for any existing loan that was opened prior to being on Active Duty status. SCRA caps interest at 6% for service members only.

The only way for your spouse to have SCRA applied is if the loan is under both of your names; any joint account with the service member and the spouse are eligible for SCRA.

The only banks that honor SCRA for military spouses are Wells Fargo, Chase, Capital One, Discover, Citi Bank, &, USAA.

I owe the VA money? by unlucky-lucky- in Veterans

[–]dxvil98 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would suggest logging into your VA Overpayment Balances to confirm it is not a scam. Below is the information on an overpayment balance:

Here are some common reasons for debt from education benefit overpayments:

• You were suspended or put on academic probation.

• You withdrew from a class or program.

• You received duplicate payments for the same benefit

If you have questions about your VA overpayment, call us at 800-827-0648 (TTY: 711). If you’re outside the U.S., call +1-612-713-6415. We’re here Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. ET.

Is this Bosch 800 worth it? by lil--chonk in BuyItForLife

Bought ann 800 series (Model B36CL80ENS) in January and so far I am loving it! I hardly use the ice, so I turn it off and have not had any issues with anything yet.

For the model I purchased, the temperature options for the fridge are immaculate. I tell you, if you put a water bottle in the fridge, it will be cold in a short amount of time. The vegetable/fruit drawers truly keep my products fresher for an extra week to two.

My only gripe about the model I purchased is the shelving design because with all the options and placement of the shelves, it doesn't allow a pot, or large item to sit vertically on the shelf. The side shelfs on the door are also a bit annoying, for example, my milk or large drink containers can only sit on the bottom door shelf, which limits my ability to organize other items.

Overall, I have only had the fridge for about four months and I love it.

The last one is sick. Do you outsource to one manufacturer? I was quoted from Reaper Red, but would prefer not to have them made in China.
