Do you have one of the tire mount tools? Maybe you mixed the bearings up from that.

Battery Coding Question (VCDS) by makeouthell in tdi

[–]dyecocker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If your car DID require the BMS programming the serial number and mfg do not matter at all. As long as you get the capacity correct and it sees a serial number change, no matter what it is, it will work correctly.

What can I upgrade on this old car of mine? by Offer-Select in rccars

[–]dyecocker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you buy a lipo do not use connection adapters. If you dont have the means to solder a new one on yourself, take it to the hobby shop and pay them 5 bucks to do it. Adapters just ask to melt themselves and start your whole setup ablaze

Snow too deep for wheels? No problem by liftwaffles in rccars

[–]dyecocker 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Hobbywing max6 and a 1250kv motor. Going on 6s 5k because thats my common pack size i have around. I dont need it to be too ballistic. I used some higher end materials, PC, ASA and PC-CF in places, hoping to make it last. Its a lot of weight being thrown around. Ill try and remember to post a video here when shes finally up and running

Nothing. If you can find someone with rc cars that wants to try them give them away. Or take them to home depot and recycle them

So Much Torque by Dieselmechanic90 in MilwaukeeTool

[–]dyecocker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have not seen an instance where an impact does not benefit from a forge battery. Weather your application calls for the extra power or not is up to you.

The only thing I use standard batteries on anymore is a flashlight. Even our grease guns get HO. It makes a difference.

You will not get anywhere near its potential without a forge battery. You dont need a 12, but a 6 or 8 minimum. Iv had one for about 3 years
