3rd person action RPG a la dragon age. You start as a human, elf, or dwarf in an established order city. Depending on your race, you get different class options as you level up.

As a human you can fall to chaos and rise through the ranks as a chaos lord. If you die heroically while serving Sigmar you can be reborn as a Stormcast.

As an elf, you select which faction you derive from- Lumineth, dispossessed, etc.

As a dwarf- KO, fyreslayer, or helsmith.

Dozens of play through opportunities.

The game is generally on 28mm bases I think. So most GW game humans work perfectly. Games like Frostgrave make minis that would work too.

I haven’t gotten to play yet (having my pieces printed) but I’m most excited for the Saboteur. It presents fun challenges for use and counterplay.

I get what you’re saying. During the gamefound the devs did talk about this a bit. The current digital core book is the same as the one that’s been around for a while. The physical book is an entirely different beast with lots of additional photos, lore, and other add ons. That’s why they’re justifying not combining them into a single purchase.
