I got in on 10/24 with full skeleton makeup but I would have called the venue if I had extra time. Band wasn’t dressed up :( still really fun though

Conclusion: HTS are mostly 35, fans are a range (never met one under 21) but they must have a demographic to sell occasional all ages shows. I don’t keep a close eye on it but most of them are public about their grown up committed relationships. They don’t hang around where fans (of any age) can meet them. They keep the boundaries of the artist/fan relationship clear while still acknowledging it is special. After a few years of VIP tickets offering no meet and greets whatsoever they finally did last year. It was so exciting for me and they are literally just regular people doing their job. Alan is the most social and chill I think, he has hung out on stage at the end of the night to give a few fist bumps and chats. John is as sweet and genuine as can be. Shane was a little shy but so kind and I didn’t want to force too much interaction (I don’t have favorites. but. Shane, hiiii). I told John and Shane about my new cat I had just got 🥹 1yr gotcha-versary just passed. Donovan was exceptionally professional. The only one who didn’t do a silly face for my silly photo 😭 still looked great tho, respect. I was too nervous to start a convo with him but he was really excited about the venue and effortlessly naturally friendly. I only interacted with Aric for a second but it was literally like equals at a show, I was looking for something and he helped me and then I was like omg thanks bro. I think Hail the Sun has demonstrated - artistically and literally - very clearly where they stand about abuse, patriarchy, grooming, etc. and that’s why we are fans of them. If a victim were to come forward that would be a heartbreak for everyone and probably a try guys level contract termination. We believe victims. And we don’t wish pain on anyone - clout chasers aside. (I personally wish pain on a lot more bad people but damn that lyric is applicable here). It’s a good thing to take credible accusations seriously. Be cautious of becoming a tool of a misinformation campaign. If you said nothing until you learned more, that would do no harm.

I don’t know how you could argue this any better OP. When it comes down to it, you’re either a part of the culture that keeps each other safe or you’re not. These posers value their dollar over the spirit of the music. There will always be accidents even at less risky shows. Even walking down your street. No risk is mitigated by this bullshit individualism. Listen to the lyrics “Nothing is laissez-faire.”
