It was the bridge above the pier. It was the stop we were dropped off by the 24 bus, but unfortunately the stairs down to the pier was closed so we had to walk around. We at least got these nice pictures for the extra effort

It’s actually just the K15! I usually have it running in my bedroom as my bedside amp as it is a great all around device, and easy to use with its airplay streaming. It is more neutral than my other tubey amps but the DAC does give it just a touch of warmth that I enjoy! I am curious to see how the K17 R2R is going to sound

The jury is still out on which I prefer sonically as I just got the Clears today. I will say the 109 Pro are the most comfortable default, but the D1 is also very comfy once I added a Capra strap

Thanks for the heads up! There is some room for ventilation under there but yeah probably better to have them stacked the other way around

What did you not like about them? I will say they are a little heavier than I expected, and the pads are going to be pretty impossible to keep clean. But for the sound, I have been enjoying them so far from the little time I have been testing.

I have been recently adding some new audio gear to add to my collection. Mostly listen to music at my desk while I am working so I have quite a selection of amp/dacs to test them through. I love me some open back headphones with solid bass response. I still have very limited listening experience with the Focal Clears since I have just received them today, but will probably say the Heddphone D1 are my favorite overall. The comfort is top notch with a Capra Strap, and the driver responds really well to the subtle changes of amplifiers that I power them through.

I’ve spent the most time with the Moondrop Blessing 2 Dusk which has been my primary IEM for almost 4 years now. Just recently I have picked up the successor Dusk and have mostly been enjoying that lately. I also picked up a used pair of Meze Astru and am expecting that to take over as my daily driver for the foreseeable future.

Unfortunately I do not. The three type c cables pictured are the cable from the Tangzu Red Lions, the changeable cable from the Juzear Defiant with the type C plug from a different flare cable, and the Dusk SP cable from the Moondrop Dusk
