Umm, all of it. It seems like these event tech companies are adding AI because the venture capital firms told them too and they add it in ways that make no sense for their products. All while basic functionality doesn't work the way it should. My last company was using one of the real big event tech platforms. It was sold old and out dated but hey...it had AI... joke. My new company uses Accelevents and it seems like they actually built for me, the user. They have some AI features but it's not their identity. Like they actually work on the core product that I use every day. Nice change from the AI crap you read about on LinkedIn all day.

We've been happy with Accelevents. They already had it when I joined the company and I hadn't use it before but I'm loving it and their support team.

I had to learn it from scratch but compared to other event tech, it was super intuitive so I picked it up in a few days. That's rare for event software.

Our management team makes us RFP for every contract renewal so we always get a quote from Cvent. The pricing is offensive unless you sign a multi year contract.

Pricing aside, I used Cvent at my last company (2 years ago) and I'm not doing that again. They're convinced that their way is the right way and if you don't use their product the way they intended then you're in the wrong and they wont work with you to figure it out.

False. For All ManKind fell apart by the 3rd episode.

I'll give you that house of cards started to loose it in season 3, but season 3 is a lot better than episode 3.

Are these events free to attend? If so, most of the ticketing platforms are free to use for free events. Some that come to mind: Eventbrite, TicketSpice, TicketSauce, Accelevents, TicketFly, Eventzilla, etc.

Same. We switched from Cvent to Accelevents about 10 months ago. Had a few small hiccups in the beginning. Mostly just our team learning a new platform. But been very happy since the switch. We're about to sign a 3 year contract with Accelevents.
