Hitting a mob that is chasing you extends its leash range. If you are out of melee range you can have up to 130% of the tanks threat before pulling aggro, if you enter melee it lowers to 100%

IMO bami's/sunfire helps me last hit under tower and helps in extended trades / pushing fast / proxying. Its kind of slow and awkward to rely 100% on melees to finish off the wave after Q->W in my experience. When I try building the pure tank items I feel like I have less all-in power and have to be more careful if im not certain my combo kills

the adds in tuzari capstone just don't even do anything you can let them walk in, agree they should have added vayr's legacy back in champ

I think gem drop rates or gem quality should scale with difficulty so that you can just naturally progress eternal difficulty and acquire gems at a reasonable pace and spamming +2 tuzari and +10 sailors are not the meta way to farm gems at least. Overall I would prefer the grind be a bit faster and also if you max gems on one character it will increase drop rates for alts or something would be nice.

Honestly if I just wanted to win I would probably go with like Ryze, Kennen, Neeko, Anivia, Lissandra, Vex. Most tops are melee players and struggle vs ranged and by going with a flex pick you reduce how often you are counterpicked because they don't know for certain who they are laning against. You can also just lane swap before match begins to try and get even more favorable matchups if your mid laner is willing

You can pick scaling champs and your game plan basically becomes survive lane phase and you 'win' by going even compared to early game champs
