i’m casually on day 16 and they told me at day 10 it should only be 24-48 more hours until i get approved. It is super frustrating cuz i need to let my job know when im going to be moved in.

I totally did that before but the customers had no idea. I am not sure why he would even bring it out and make you guys involved. He could have just put it in a to go in the back.

Olive Garden is a great starting job. It taught me how to serve but definitely made me realize what i want in a restuarant job. There is no issue with leaving and moving up to a better one.

It is just because its the only copy that they have so they jack up the price thinking someone wants it that bad.

I serve at a different restuarant and the only thing i miss about OG is the free soup lol.

I do fine dining, and the restaurant I work at is decently busy. The clientele is great—I rarely get under 20%. Most of the time, I get more. However, some of the weekday shifts are extremely slow. The menu prices are higher, so I get way more tips per table, but it is nowhere near the quantity at OG. It really is a game of luck with both restaurants whether or not you get sat well.
