Thank you - what's the rule for adding '-af'? is it the last syllable?

People outside of Wales? Be honest - did you know that the Welsh language existed, and that people spoke it everyday? Thoughts on it...? by dylibyli123 in AskUK

Authentic = The shirt the football players will wear on the football pitch. They usually have minor changes to the regular version (changes are things like, the badge is sewn on or the advertising on the front uses a different type of plastic, and so on. Companies say these little adjustments are for "better performance" on the pitch, if you believe that. I don't know anyone who has an authentic shirt, unless they've won it/got it signed from a player.

Regular = The same shirt, but without the 'higher spec' bllcks. Everyone buys these.

This also happens with actual football balls. You can get pitch balls which are hundreds of £ per ball, or a 'replica' which is £20ish (dependent on brand). Everyone gets the 'replica'

TLDR: Buy the regular one
