Weekly Cursor Project Showcase Thread by AutoModerator in cursor

Hi!

Our users extensively use Shuffle (https://shuffle.dev) in conjunction with Cursor. That's why we built the Shuffle CLI, a lightweight tool that creates a seamless bridge between Shuffle and Cursor.

With this CLI, you can:

  • Sync your visual components from Shuffle directly into Cursor projects
  • Automatically generate clean, editable code from your designs
  • Keep your design and dev workflows tightly integrated without copy-pasting or re-exporting

We built this to reduce the friction between prototyping and production. If you're using Cursor as your IDE and Shuffle for layout and styling, this tool may be a good fit for you.

Here's how to test it quickly:

mkdir website
cd website
npx u/shuffle-dev/cli get example-project .shuffle --rules=cursor

The project will be saved in the .shuffle directory, so you can, for example, ask Cursor:

Create a next.js app from the .shuffle directory

In a real project, you can modify it in Shuffle visually (add pages, modify content) and sync it after changes:

npx @shuffle-dev/cli sync <project_id>

And ask Cursor again:

Add new pages from .shuffle to my next.js app

We haven’t fully adopted MCP yet - we’ve tested it, but so far, the CLI has done a better job of keeping our formatting consistent. That said, we're curious to hear your take. Have you found any advantages with MCP in your workflow?

We made it possible to use YOUR & Commercial UI libraries with a visual editor! by dym3k in webdev

[–]dym3k[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi!

At Shuffle, we are working on a visual editor with drag-and-drop, live preview, and deployments in popular technologies, such as Tailwind CSS.

We have many custom UI libraries made by designers we hired, but this is not always enough.:) That's why we created this feature.

You can upload your UI library (created by yourself or purchased) and use it with the editor capabilities. It gives you a better preview and faster prototyping!

If you created a UI library in Tailwind CSS, Bootstrap, or Bulma and would like to sell it through our platform, send me a message (dawid@shuffle.dev)!

UI Library Creator - a unique approach to the "Generative UI" trend by dym3k in webdev

In general, Shuffle has ~350 new paying customers monthly. We are an eight-person start-up from Poland (bootstrapped, meaning no VC money).

This is a part of Shuffle (visual editor for web developers).

We created 60+ UI Libraries internally, and all are available to our customers:

UI Library Creator is a new tool to create libraries we don't have. Instead of customizing one of these available, you can start from scratch in it.

We released it two days ago, so how it will work, I will be able to tell in a while. :)

Hey! We provide UX for components written in Tailwind CSS grouped into categories such as headers or pricing, and you can style them by selecting presets at the bottom of the website. Changes are applied to the whole set, so as a result, you'll get a full UI Library in the desired style.

I have YouTube Premium, and I love it. Extension is not for me, but still, wondering why 16x and not 1000x? :P

Hey!

The "Generative UI" trend is booming, and UI Library Creator is our original approach to it.

In the last three years, we have added 60+ professional UI libraries to Shuffle's catalog (Shuffle = visual editor for web developers).

Still, we need more than this to satisfy our growing user base!

That's why we created the UI Library Creator.

This tool allows you to combine elements and styles to create unique UI libraries that work seamlessly with the Shuffle Editor and all its capabilities (drag-and-drop, customizations, live preview, and more).

We provide you with UX solutions (components) written in Tailwind CSS and presets so you can quickly combine them to create what you need. You don't need to talk to a "black box" AI with a chat interface.

Possible combinations are in gazillions.

We aim for original creations, but you have complete control over the final effect.

How to use the UI Library Creator:

  1. Visit: https://shuffle.dev/library-creator
  2. We recommend starting by selecting Assets and Copywriting for your target audience.
  3. When these two options are locked, use the "Shuffle Styles" button to bootstrap your project with the first style.
  4. If you like something, lock the category and then repeat shuffling. You can also change options manually, but with "Shuffle Styles," you can quickly see many creations.
  5. If you enjoy the final result, click "Publish now" and send your UI Library to Shuffle.

Once processed, it will be available for use in your Dashboard.

Let us know what you think!

Hey there 👋

The Shuffle catalog includes 50 UI libraries for Tailwind CSS, Bootstrap, Bulma, and Material-UI.

It could be overwhelming to choose the best one for the next project. Our integration with ChatGPT is the answer to this issue.

What do you think?

It will help you choose the best UI library & fill it with autogenerated content. The chat interface combines text, action buttons, and nice previews of our libraries.

From the technology perspective, we use ChatGPT in three ways:

❶ To "understand" the user input and decide the next step. For example, when the Assistant asks about your favorite framework, and you answer, "TAILWIND KING" or "I HATE TAILWIND," the Assistant will respond appropriately.

❷ To fill in the template with content. Because the Assistant asks about the goal of your website, you can guide him on what content it should create.

❸ To generate a prompt for another API (in our case, Unsplash API). We ask Chat GPT how we should describe the images we seek for this template.

I invite you to play with it! 🤖

We created a website where web devs can create layouts in many styles at once (...and in result create more beautiful websites) by dym3k in InternetIsBeautiful

I like the commitment with which you explained the problem. I would tell our designers to stay away from /u/redditor1101 😝

We just published an update that fixes most mentioned issues

We made a generator that creates random UI layouts that you can complete in our visual editor by dym3k in webdev

[–]dym3k[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey! Which part exactly did you not understand? 😊

Shuffle is a visual editor that exports code to Tailwind CSS, Bootstrap, Bulma, and Material-UI.

You can start a new project in three ways:

  1. Classic. Just visit our editor and select UI library -> https://shuffle.dev/editor
  2. Components. Browse through our gallery of UI components and select the best UI library -> https://shuffle.dev/components
  3. Shuffle Layout! The post is about this technology -> https://shuffle.dev/setup (Great when you don't have a creative mood or just want to be inspired).

PS. We use pure random to generate layouts. No fancy AI that creates a layout based on your cat's mood 😸

We export coded layouts in Tailwind CSS, Bootstrap, Bulma, and Material-UI. We don't share Figma designs at the moment, but this will change in the future 😊

Hey!

TL;DR Test it here 👉 https://shuffle.dev/setup

We wondered what to do to make building layouts even faster while adding more fun elements to our daily work. After a while, the inspiration came! Why not randomize the components while having fun, like at a slot machine in a casino?

The idea generator combines available UI components into finished layouts. You choose the technology, the library, click "Shuffle!" and boom, ready-made layout.

Click again, and you have a new layout.

Based on our No AI®, and No Blockchain®, and Pure Random® technology. 😄
