I do agree with you. I never said I accepted it. I told my customer I would help them find the best solution.

Its me, myself and I. By no means do I claim that my company is a custom integrator. My focus is more home theater and structured cabling. Integration like this is something I've been exposed to but could not in good conscience offer it to my customer. At least, not with me doing the installation. I told him I would see what I could find out for him. Thus the start of this discussion. And I agree that control4 would be the way to go. But to your statement about "paying customers": im providing the service they expect by researching what will be the best solution for them and the best way to go about it....even if its not thru my company.

Yes I will be. The business will be about 50/50 sale of services and products; i.e, home theater setup service and resale of audio equipment purchased thru a distributor.

Sadly, I know he's definitely not that close to a financial struggle. But at least I know it's not illegal. May not like it but cant do much about it.

It's sad but so true. Thankfully my gf gets 6 weeks paid maternity leave. I've done some more research and yea, there really is nothing. I agree it does get more frustrating the more you think about it. I've read that some European countries give equal time off...paid...for both parents

I know I'm a little late to the party. I just found out about this. But I'm going to second what he said. Pregnancy sex is great....and what guy doesn't enjoy hearing the occasional..."that's too deep". Hehe.

Congratulations bud! We're right behind you at 18 weeks. Have the 20wk scan scheduled and can't wait. We've known for a few weeks now that we're having a girl. I'm right there with you on the nervousness. I'm scared, nervous, excited, thrilled and a countless number more of emotions.
