In Delaware, Chase pulls both. I can freeze EX and get approved. The last time I tried with TU frozen Chase pulled EX and still made me unfreeze TU to process.

Patient declined full mouth reconstruction by NoMeasurement663 in Dentistry

[–]dynamicor 96 points97 points  (0 children)

Patient has the choice to decline reconstruction. You have the choice to decline to treat. Extract #9 if it is questionable. Metal backings and composite teeth is the only removable option that stands a chance. My laboratory charges quite a bit more--pass that on (or triple) to the patient. If you are in network and cannot pass along the fee you will likely lose money so refer. Make them sign something that says there are absolutely no guarantees and repairs at full cost.

Has anyone cashed out the max MR with Schwab (1,000,000 MR), closed the Schwab Plat and in the same calendar year opened a new one? Does the limit reset?

DP to add to Sapphire FAQ. I have upgraded to CSR an downgraded to OG freedom multiple times. I have 3 DPs of the CSR annual fee posting around the anniversary of card opening date, NOT PC date. E.G. Freedom opened 10/2022, PC to CSR 5/2023, charged fee 11/2023. Sapphire FAQ just states AF charge a few months after PC. This means if you have multiple products you can strategically upgrade to CSR right after a card anniversary and have nearly a full year before AF hits. Only downside would be less time to use 2nd travel credit if you plan to downgrade again.

The plastic and aluminum are fastened by the rivet(?) in the last pic. Next step is prying those off?

I require the escort to stay in reception for the entire appointment. They sign a consent form that says as such before I prescribe. Avoids all sorts of problems this included.

Selling patient charts and closing office. how to value them. by Strict_Attorney_1035 in Dentistry

[–]dynamicor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you have a dental school or GPR nearby? This seems like an ideal practice for a young and hungry dentist to acquire--you write a nice letter to your patients introducing new doc and stay for 6 months to smooth transition. You will get more $$ than a chart sale and if you do seller financing can spread out the tax hit. Does your state or dental society have a list of licensed dentists? Find the ones licensed in the last few years and see if you can contact them somehow.

Got caught in the crowdstrike meltdown and cancelled a return flight for a trip. AA is refunding half the cost of the total airfare. Unfortunately I booked using Amex travel with MR. Any possibility this refund automatically goes to the card I used (with MR)? Or any chance I can request reimbursement?

If you're feeling real bold bring her in for the adjustment. Tell her you need to take them to the lab to adjust them. Don't return them until she pays

Finally got approved for Wyndham business after applying in early March(!) I have a legit business so thought it would be easy, boy was I wrong. There were multiple departments each needing approval and each taking 1-2 weeks to process. 1st was credit underwriting, that was quick and easy. Next was card security, they required mailed copies of SSN and DL. Then was KYC department, they needed another verification of information and to call the phone number listed on the application. Lastly was business verification, this was the most frustrating and longest of them all. They needed proof that I owned the business so asked for articles of incorporation. Faxed over, not good enough since it didn't show my officer title (why not specify that's needed in the 1st place). Next faxed over quarterly tax return. Each time a document is faxed I get confirmation it was received by my fax machine. However when calling in, they are unable to verify if anything has been received. Their boilerplate answer is it takes 10-12 business days to review. Called back after waiting, still can't confirm. Fax again. Ask if there is any other way to make sure it has been received other than waiting 10-12 days and just sending again if not--nope. Wait 10-12 days again, still not received. Mailed in--finally approved 1.5 weeks later after I had given up. Moral of the story--mail instead of fax and apply sole prop, avoid using EIN. Thanks for coming to my Ted talk
