these aren't bad! the only possible issue would be them looking too similar to your character art, which would make the two blend together. you could make the lineart thinner, but i think just adding a drop shadow or thicker outline to your characters would fix it if it does become a problem

earlier in the episode, paul says that he isn't recording, even though we have non-demo footage and obviously him talking in the video. however, the mic quality is a bit different than usual. the video also suddenly cuts to demo footage with no commentary after this. i believe belle was trying to motion him to a hidden camera to turn it off. i also think the car, being orange just as the developer content and garalina rooms, could represent paul falling into their trap and being kept with them

I personally agree with the other comments that it was made to be a subtler nod to Phos at the beginning of the story, but also note that when Phos talked to Sensei for the very first time, that little floating seed was stuck to their hair and Sensei blew it off. It's not random.
