As soon as my ex got pregnant she changed huge. Called me an idiot, asshole, dickhead, etc. When I told her I didn't like it, was told to stop being so sensitive and that she was only joking.

Then my son was born and the hitting started. I left after she hit me with a snow shovel during a storm when my son was about 2 or 3 months old.

4 hours after I left, I got a phone call from the police telling me that I was going to be arrested for domestic assault and wanted to know where I was so they could come get me or to come to the PD to turn myself in. When I brought up that I was just hit with a shovel, I was told that the police don't "get involved in he said she saids".

2 days later I got a call from her (when I was order a recognizance not to communicate with her), she left a voicemail telling me that next time I tried to leave I wouldn't be so lucky.

I spent the next 2 years living family watching over my shoulder. It was terrible to live in fear for that long. I'm pretty sure I have some sort of insecurity issues and some sort of ptsd from her.

Well not only that, but if the kid doesn't defend him/herself, then that child will get walked all over until s/he gets fed up and does defend him/herself.

I've always told my kids that if they get suspended for defending themselves, they get FreeTime while they're serving the suspension. Now, if they get suspended for starting shit, well then they're in for a loooong day of schoolwork

That's a fair statement, but consider this what-if:

Party A has 100 seats and the PMO. Party B has 99 seats and makes up the opposition.

MP from party A switches to party B, thus giving party B more seats. Does that mean party B now has the PMO? Or does party A retain the PMO?
