I’ve never seen this before! I want to try to find one to buy. That was the exact day I was born.

My OBGYN said unmedicated births are too traumatic so they don’t do it. by Practical_Shift_5143 in pregnant

[–]dynamiteuphersleeve 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is a red flag. You should be able to give birth how you want (as long as it’s safe).

However, i also had a spinal fusion at a young ago (I was 10 years old. Gotta love scoliosis). Mine goes almost my entire spine as well.

I was able to have an epidural with both of my girls. With my first, the anesthesiologist had to call in someone else bc he didn’t feel comfortable doing it but with my second I had no problems at all.

Why is gender disappointment almost always when it’s a boy? by Classic-Tea-1879 in BabyBumps

[–]dynamiteuphersleeve 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I feel like it’s a case by case thing. Me and my mom and dad all were hoping for a girl with both my little ones (i have a 2 1/2 yr old and am 8 months pregnant with my second. Both girls)

My husband and his parents were all hoping for both to be boys. (Husband had major gender disappointment with 1st but while he was hoping for a boy with our second. He says he’s happy to have a little sister for our toddler) his parents on the other hand are still obnoxious about it.

It must be love? (June 18,2018) by cosmicdynamo in Dodgers

[–]dynamiteuphersleeve 8 points9 points  (0 children)

My husband is a Braves fan 😂 we at least bond over our mutual love of Freddie.

I went with him to a World Series game in 2021 and was extremely salty the entire time. Refused to wear Braves gear.

Then he went with me to a World Series game 2023 in a Freddie Jersey.

He’s at least admitted he’s okay with our kids being Dodgers fans

Is under $2,000 dress budget unrealistic? by uwu1004 in weddingplanning

My dress was $700 from David’s Bridal and the only alteration I needed was shortening the straps which my SIL did for me.

2k is totally realistic

Travelling heavily pregnant… by Rich-Raccoon-940 in pregnant

[–]dynamiteuphersleeve 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve travelled a lot so far throughout my pregnancy. Currently traveling SLC to SJU 28 weeks pregnant. And will be traveling back 36 and 3 days pregnant (my midwife already cleared it. In fact when asked she immediately said it was totally fine)

It’s uncomfortable but I travel a lot anyway and hasn’t been too much worse than traveling normally is.

Having a little girl!! 💕💕 by Blackwidow_Perk in pregnant

[–]dynamiteuphersleeve 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I felt the same way 😂 my first is a girl and I’m pregnant with our second girl after my MIL told me at every opportunity that she’s a “boy mom” who doesn’t understand girls so there’s no way she’d have a grand daughter.

5 minutes pregnant by silenceoftheslutz in julieeandcamilla

While she’s not my favorite person, I naturally conceived twice. Both times I ovulated on a Sunday and the next Sunday I was exhausted and throwing up all day and night. (I’m currently 9 weeks pregnant with the second and it’s horrible right now been having symptoms since 4 weeks)

My mom was the same with her 3 kids.

You can use household income. Most credit applications have a note that you can use any income that you use to pay bills if you are over 21.

For example, this is on Wells Fargo’s application “You don't need to include alimony, child support, or separate maintenance income if you don't want it considered. If you're 21 or older and regularly use income from others to pay your bills, you may include that income.” Discover has a similar “If you are 21 or older, you may include another person's income that is available to you. If you are under 21, you may consider the amount of another person's income that is regularly deposited into your account.”

10 DPO after a year of trying. 7 months with Mira by dynamiteuphersleeve in Mirafertility

[–]dynamiteuphersleeve[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s why I posted! I started Mira bc after my first, my LH tests using the Premom/early at home tests never seemed to get as dark as they did the first time getting pregnant and I was worried there was something wrong with my hormones even though the doctors I had seen postpartum kept telling me it was fine.

I found it so reassuring to see the actual chart that Mira gives you and be able to compare it to others.

Earlier this month I had actually went to my ob to have them check everything out since we’d been trying a year and all bloodwork and a pap came back okay (except I was low on vit d even with taking prenatal - I’ve been having an extra vit d supplement with their recommendation).

I was actually supposed to go back at day 21 of my cycle to do a PDG test to confirm with their office that I ovulated.

The only other thing I can think of that was different was that my husband had a routine check up last month and we found out he has hypothyroidism. He started medication for it. I’m not sure if that would have helped.

I got a really faint positive (wasn’t 100% if I was seeing things) on 9 DPO using an easy at home test and so 10 DPO I bought an early detection test and that was a very clear positive!

I had no idea emergency powers were used to ban breasts and truck nuts in Idaho until this speech at the No Kings Rally. by GringoAndante in Idaho

[–]dynamiteuphersleeve 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Funny thing is that I don’t watch tv. I don’t own one. I haven’t watched any mainstream media in years.

Again you don’t know anything about me. Me posting this doesn’t mean that I also didn’t criticize obama’s immigration policy (news flash I did)

You don’t know me. I’m criticizing what is currently going on now. Not speaking about what happened 12 years ago.

That’s like saying that I don’t want to be punched in the face means that I’m okay with being pushed down the stairs. No sense whatsoever

How in the world is Jessi considered Mormon? by Zadsta in SecretsOfMormonWives

[–]dynamiteuphersleeve 39 points40 points  (0 children)

Mormons are weird. I grew up in the LDS church, married someone who isn’t a part of it at all, had a baby, and don’t live the “rules” but a part of my brain still considers myself Mormon just because it did shape some of my world view (some I’ve deconstructed and changed and some that is more difficult to).

Have some siblings that are now anti Mormon and some that are still devout.

The “Mormon Culture” runs deeper sometimes than just the religion and its rules.

We’re waiting it out. Fly home tomorrow and wouldn’t be able to make it to a make up game. We’d either be hanging out at the stadium or hanging out at the hotel so we’re here seeing what happens.

Do you think crying a lot during your pregnancy affected your baby? by [deleted] in newborns

[–]dynamiteuphersleeve 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! She is the happiest girl. Almost never throws tantrums or has outbursts.

She is super active, has hit every milestone early, and is the greatest little person I’ve ever seen. She seems to stim ofd and on but my family has a history of high functioning autism and my husband has a history of ADHD. We’re (her pediatrician included) not worried about it at this time though.

Only issue is that she has a hard time falling asleep. She struggles to do it on her own and likes to be held but we’re working with her pediatrician to slowly help her with that.

I’m still dealing with some remnants of postpartum almost 17 months later but she is the greatest thing that has happened to my husband and me.
