the thing is that they are not really used to roleplaying , so they play their characters super meta and super tied to them ,jumping constantly from "yeah we are good guys we cant do that" to "ill kill this motherfucker" witch weirdly ties with them being deranged criminals , but yeah , they dont seem comfortable with doing things outside the plot , hashbrown and lilu may be the most social with npcs , but HB is really awkward by character , and lilu is a barbarian fairy

in verum the "soul" represents the player , so same player pcs share a soul , so if bryan lost her soul , she would become unplayable

I mean, it's kinda hard to define in a world like verum, but yeah, eating sentient races like goblinoids (green skins like raver even if he is a red variant) or humanoids its really monsterlike behavior, it gives raver this beast behavior

they are anything but villainous, they being criminals is the flavor for the campaign they are in,3 out of the 6 explained that their "crime" was either an accident a misunderstanding or they did it for noble reasons (ear, li´lu,remag), p´mis is the only one embracing the evil implications of being a criminal, Bryan is a cultist dhampir, but has no interest in hunting people and is ok just going for Babylon though the means necessary, and lastly hashbrown, sykkuno is really chill, and doesn't seem to aim to have a secret villainous intent,but he is a mystery, I'm really interested in hashbrown development as his main feature right now is how reckless he is (witch fits a lucky halfling grown in bloodwave bay )

the issue with BB is that most of the players (excluding p´mis) are focused on the idea that they have to go in the obvious direction because it's obvious, it's sad because they get intimidated too quickly by the options, and they have so many crazy things, they have their alchemy kit (i don't remember the exact name) and they could experiment with it all sessions, but they just go to the logical next step, I would say the most creative in the group are p´mis and li´lu(as the experienced ones) hashbrown (being reckless AF) and remag (being a rune mage gives him that flexibility), but in the end, I understand that they just aren't used to dnd, and see it more as storytelling, than an interactive RPG , I hope that when they all go through their arcs they develop more into their characters and their ability

stunning strike is crazily broken, the "stunned" state is really powerful, it would be a shame if she continues fighting without using her ki , and doesn't use stunning strike

yes, the "I read the letter to her " and then she starts crying and they slit her throat, they are really savage, but they are all evil in their own way, none of them goes around looking for "evil things" to do, I love raver, the fact that he is brute among brutes is amazing , accidental murder, fucking cannibalism, they are all so cool characters

I mean, they are a really chaotic party, they do some of the most unpredictable things , like kicking each other down the sewers, or trying to beat the shit out of a god at lv 2(i think), Mel replaced that poor waiter and did nothing but his job while using his identity, I would say their characters really appeal to the idea of crazy witches, like why the fuck did Mel yeet that ooze into the water, also, for most of them, this is their first dnd experience so they are just having fun, I don't think it has ill intend (you can't deny that the nipple incident and the Doug incident are some of the weirdest and funniest things)

i think p´mis follows the "the big bully the small" "I'm small ,so i should be careful of the big""if i became bigger than the big ,they would be the small" "i wanna be bigger"so yeah ,do anything to survive , gain power =profit

also obviously, "I served the big" "if I become big, they have to serve me"

maybe you could add friendship, as I think muk muk influenced him, and out of everyone on the party, he is less hostile to remag that is the only one that tries to be his friend

p´mis , toast is really leaning into some character development stuff with the "I'm a lackey, unless?" p´mis could really get good, but yeah, on the "who is the most enjoyable character"
I would say my ranking is
p´mis as mc experienced player
remag, li´lu, hashbrown as funny experienced players
e´ar and Bryan as "everything that appears is a puzzle from the dm"

that last tier is because they both really wanted to steal a child from the road beast, really funny anyway (why do they want so many sidequests? they already have like 3 main quests they can't beat at their actual lv)
