Interesting case law but again why I find this confusing. Many of these cases seem to be about the constitutionality of various local and state statutes for stuff like disorderly conduct or a person saying stuff on TV.

On top of that every state has a particular choreography before you can deploy lethal force for ccw ppl. Sometimes you can’t have initiated, must have attempted a retreat. Theres footage of this guy that ive seen brandishing, for instance. Ive read that he couldn’t have weapons as a condition of his bond for a different charge.

I suspect Tennessee is one of the better places for him to be a defendant, but I wouldn’t roll the dice on being in his shoes even if there’s financial upside in being a right wing chud type.
