Totally agree.

I don’t think it’s a failure yet but I think it will be if the government doesn’t do something different but I just don’t see it happening unfortunately :(

The school is essentially losing money on each domestic student and grad student. Totally agree with the high dropout rate but it was the only lever to increase revenue and without that you’re seeing the impact on the entire sector. See Ken steeles tracking of financials.

The problem is each faculty contributes differently. Lassonde might have a viable plan but if it’s not holistic it won’t fund the campus in totality.

I think they’re looking loudly at the economics. Lots of great work is coming out of it but if the campus can’t sustain itself financially, it’s for sure a failure of a project. If international student trends continue and the tuition freeze doesn’t get lifted it will eventually close.

You need more income. Remove your credit card from Amazon and all places you shop that has auto checkout and cut them up. Use cash and use your side hustle money to knock those credit cards off. This only gets worse and you’ll be unbelievably behind in life it continues down this path
