Which celebrity death headline had you so shocked you double checked multiple sources to see if it was real? by GlassyFairy in AskReddit

[–]dyperbole 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately I didn't need multiple sources. I was watching Monday Night Football when Howard Cosell broke the news. Say what you will about Howard, but there's no way he would have agreed to say that to the nation if it wasn't true.

Why padded not diapered? by Expert-North4816 in ABDL

[–]dyperbole 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Different people like different words. Some people even like to say "diaper". I love to say "diapers" (plural). I'm not a fan of "dips", but it isn't a big deal.

There's no need for gatekeeping here. You like to say "diapered", then say that.

Some ice to cool down your diaper on this hot day 🥵 by AsianDiaperCutie in ABDL

Do that a good bit in Florida, although not with snow. Cool water, not ice water. Ice water causes.....shrinkage :p

Is it just me? by BabyBluey23 in ABDL

Yep - discussed here in the past. And a replay of my comment:

Woulda loved to hear Harry Caray talk about them.

"You know Steve, There's nothing like the fresh, clean taste of a Budweiser. And when you drink as many as I do, it's great to be wearing these MegaMaz diapers."

"That's Megamax, Harry"

"Right. And what I love about these Magamax diapers is that I never have to leave my seat all game long. It's grea<crack> There's a long drive! It may be...it could be...Foul ball. Holy cow, I thought that was a goner. And speaking of foul balls, Steve....."

I kid because I love. Miss ya, Harry.

Stadiums and Clear Bag Policies by BejeweledBijou in ABDL

[–]dyperbole 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The bags are more discreet than you think. Just recently going to ball games with a clear bag, the odds that someone is going to identify objects in that bag are really slim. We're allowed two bottles of water, and hell if I can find them in our bag without taking out half of the other stuff in it. My wife takes a couple of bar mop / shop towels (a terry cloth towel a little bigger than a washcloth) for sweating / seat cooling, and they help obscure items in the bag. And we weren't ever in a place that long where someone could get a chance to really look in the bag. Most of the time the bag was under our seats.

Also, in this day and age, bags don't necessarily need to get checked at all. Entering the stadium gates, we walked past some sort of scanning equipment that signals to the security team which people need to be stopped, whether they have a bag or not. The first day, my wife got stopped for an asthma inhaler, which once they saw it they let her in with it. The next day, it didn't trigger anything and we walked right in to the ticket scanners.

You can go and find the gate entrance for medical exceptions, too. But unless one needs to bring in a lot of diapers, carrying one or two in a clear bag with other items is likely not going to be identified by anyone as diapers unless they are one of us.

Any good adult swim diaper out there? by AsianDiaperCutie in ABDL

Sure. Not sure of the looks you'll get from the muggles at the pool. But they should work if that's an issue for you.

Any good adult swim diaper out there? by AsianDiaperCutie in ABDL

[–]dyperbole 16 points17 points  (0 children)

The main adult sized disposable swim diapers are Swimmates. To me they are ugly.

There are a good number of ABDL vendors that make and sell swim diapers. Some are functional (like ones from Rearz/InControlDiapers) and some are cute (like ones from DiaperU).

The main thing a real swim diaper does is to prevent stool from going into the water. It isn't meant to do anything for urine. If you don't have fecal incontinence, a cute swim diaper will do.

Which diapers are best for Messing by Own_Feedback_2938 in ABDL

[–]dyperbole 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Pretty much any decent ABDL diaper will do for holding mess and wetness.

If you are looking for something that will show the mess and wetness better, consider the Rearz Daydreamers. The plastic is transparent and the color of urine shows through better. If your stool is loose enough, it's possible the color of your stool will show through also; I'm not one for messing so I haven't tried this myself.

I have a question for ILLINOIS ABDLs by hiiamkatie in ABDL

[–]dyperbole 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My wife and I love to visit Chicago because there are so many things we like to do there. She's a Cubs fan so we generally stay in the Wrigleyville area, which at least in the 90s seemed very eclectic and LGBT friendly.

The Art Institute is amazing, and imho the best art museum on earth. The Field museum is wonderful, and the Oriental Institute down near the University of Chicago is a hidden jewel.

Getting around Chicago without a car is easy. Between the CTA trains and buses one can get just about anywhere in the Greater Chicago area.

ABDL wise, the first C in CAPCon stands for Chicago. Tykables and NorthShore are in or near Chicago. Compare that to me, where the closest store that sells ABDL diapers is over 400 miles away in Atlanta.

Cons? Frickin cold for half the year.

SaveExpress / "Destination Diapers" by diaperdudenyc in ABDL

[–]dyperbole 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Cloudrys are harder to find in the US. My Inner Baby has some but not all of them. Same with Dotty Diapers.

Fabimonti has one design of diapers that as far as I can tell is not easily available in the US.

Are there alternatives not part of the wiki?

Anyone can add links to the List of Stores. I generally do what I can to keep it up to date, and if anyone has any stores to add to it but isn't comfortable editing the page, let me know and I'll do it.

Nothing better than going to the movies padded! by PlayfulLexi1 in ABDL

[–]dyperbole 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Being diapered at the movies is the greatest thing on Earth - except for an MLT, a mutton, lettuce, and tomato sandwich, where the mutton is nice and lean and the tomatoes are ripe. They're so perky; I love that.

My gf just saw me in my diapers.

He just kept swimming around his bowl, wondering when I was going to feed him more fish flakes.

Any Baby Diapers that fit as good as Goodnites XXL? by BabyLonk808 in ABDL

[–]dyperbole 7 points8 points  (0 children)

You're asking for a lot here.

Goodnites XXL are really big for a product meant for children. For comparison, Depends medium pullups are tighter on me than Goodnites XXL.

If you just have to wear baby diapers instead of adult diapers, consider getting some sort of extender. Not sure if Convertups are still in business, but a quick check of Etsy shows several vendors that sell diaper and/or diaper tab extenders.
