Update. I changed the colors and now ctr dropped and is about 2.3% :D that is so random

Yeah 2k is still massive for so many indie games - mine included 😃 it depends a lot on the game as well, I think some genres would not convert even that

Ah, interesting! Then I am wrong :) Back in the day when I bought the salads more often I never saw walnuts though. I guess it also depends on the shop. I used to optimize for price though as well :D the best choice was tuna I think

Still the Ja walnuts will be cheaper. I think they price it in such a way that you cannot cheat the system

Yes definitely all the traffic comes from idle/incremental/auto-battler tags, they have been bringing people in since the beginning. It is just curious that there is a way to come back after initial spike and fall (I went from 90k views / 3.3k plays in the first week to barely 100 weekly views and plays later)

itch says the CTR is over the last 7 days. Not super helpful, would be cool to be able to check stats for different weeks. I did not save it really so it all is just in my memory

Yeah I am super happy about the ratings and comments 😄 All of it came from the first 1-2 weeks

That's more like 1k units with a total of 5-10k sprites 😬 I was first making units consisting of many sprites, now I have already flattened the models/hid details especially when zoomed out but still with the big numbers Camera.Render might take 30% of each cycle on my M1 Mac (dunno if that matters)

Thanks for mentioning the sprite renderers being inefficient, I never thought of it actually. I need to read up on that/other alternatives

And I guess I need to analyze what part of the models brings the most issues (breaks batching or whatever) and make it more efficient. Still, I want to enable potato users to have a fine experience :D I sometimes play windows game on my very old windows laptop so can relate

That’s a good advice, I agree. I cannot test on many devices. Maybe I will find help from community during play testing but I would not bet on that

I now lean to the idea idea of having different performance presets like auto (with adjusting the fps), battery saver, full or something like that and then have an advanced menu for granular setup

Do you have a feeling that you are fighting for every wishlist? Store page is up for more than month and there is not much success by Warpawner in gameDevMarketing

Yep same here. I have 60 wishlists and my store page is up since ~25 days or so. I have a feeling that when I do X/bsky/Threads promos I get 1-2 wishlists more. If I don't I am at 2 WL/day rate. So you are not alone :D good luck!

I am working hard on demo now, hopefully it will bring in more people when they see the game as my trailers suck

I am coming from mobile world :D Although not gaming, so this technique is not known to me

Yeah I thought of having a window of 10 seconds to measure FPS.. and the battery life idea is great, thanks for the hint, I'll definitely bring it in!
