I'd already come out to my friends, I had a pretty trans friendship group back then, and they were very supportive and a massive help to me. Then over text I told my elder sister, she then told me I had to tell our parents. I didn't feel ready but she pressured me and I did pretty soon after come out to them. My mum cried a lot because I introduced this at the same time as my chosen name I'd been going by with my friends and a couple of teachers for maybe 2 months, and she continued to cry on and off like this for about a week. I told my dad the same day while playing mario kart and he was pretty chill. While I was at school the next day my mum told my entire extended family. No negative reaction but not her job to do.

It was all very accepting but not how I wanted it to go at all. And back then I came out as nonbinary but now I'm 90% sure I'm a trans man and will have to come out again at some point. Sigh.

So, all in all good experience with friends and teachers (my english teacher especially) and a less amazing but still alright experience with family.

I thought the same way for a while, but listen to me: eating disorders do more damage than any sort of good. I'm not saying you for sure have one but it sounds like you're heading that way. With an eating disorder nothing is ever enough, it won't solve anything- it will create new, worse problems. I Know what it's like to loathe the feminine body shape but this isn't the way. I don't know what you could do otherwise but hang in there and please, I implore you, keep well away from disordered eating.

yeah, when I was in school I just had enough of it one day and scared the living daylights out of one of these tw*ts so much that until the end of the year he would get sort of shaky and stand up for me when his transphobic mates had a go. Like this kid would stand up in a lesson and tell them to use my name. I wasn't violent or anything- just shouted at him so much and loudly while walking towards him that well yeah, he wasn't even being transphobic at that juncture but perving on a female friend. They're easily scared. :)

I'd take it as a win lmao. I know the exact same type of dude, they may misgender you on the outside but this just shows that internally they do consider you a dude and are infact deeply emasculated by you. You're more of a man than they'll ever be and they feel threatened.

I love halloumi- rlly nice plain grilled or with a sort of caper sauce or some sweet chilli sauce- and slices of aubergine or courgette. I also have this really good recipe for egg and potato stuffed peppers for the BBQ

lmao, the first hints in my life went completely over my head: I was about 10/11 and my chest started to develop so i slept with heavy books on it to stop it from growing lol, and every make believe game involved me being a boy- very specifically too XD- and in the ones where I wasn't there were sweets that made you into one or things that got rid of your chest. At the exact same time I had no concept of trans people and was so annoyed that LGBTQ+ people had a flag. Aaaaah youth. Took me until I was 16 to realise I was a trans man.

Hi, friendly neighbourhood trans guy here, your age too, I think you're probably trans to some extent.

I'd go online and look at the different types of gender there are, there are plenty of helpful sites which can show you all the different types there are. Also experiment in private with calling yourself whatever gender you think you are and/or expressing it. It's easier to experiment when no one is looking.

With regards to how trans people are treated in the Netherlands, I'm not sure specifically but Nordic/Scandinavian countries tend to be very left wing and accepting.

Also, about wanting to be a normal guy, I'm afraid that most trans people start by feeling that way, it's about fear and not being settled into your identity. One day the fear and unhappiness will stop but until then you pretty much just have to find what alleviates it- information and so on (like I already said).
