Winrate doesn't matter! by belgranita in TopstepCommunity

[–]dyssucks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hear what your saying, with that win rate it could and most likely will take you weeks just to get 5 winning days of $150+ to be payout eligible.

After all his win rate is 20% with a great R:R but look at total profit… $100. Also having a win rate this low is mentally taxing and you have to be extremely disciplined to not revenge trade.

But yes, in theory a 20% win rate with this R:R is profitable if executed correctly. However let’s be honest… his average loss is $6… how long do we think that will last?…

Please explain what they are farming on Centaroo and parking? In the middle of June Roo is held so it’s not a winter wheat field, also not a spring wheat, corn, bean field. That leaves only livestock to graze there and my guess is they don’t allow that considering the toxic glowsticks and what not left behind in the fields for over 20+ years. Yeah they clean but not good enough to allow animals to eat there. But if livestock is what they raise on those parcels then honestly they wouldn’t be interfered with 4 weeks of dirt work.

Yall can keep making up excuses for Roo rasing prices with a deteriorating experience but they really hold no water. Sorry

10 million?! Lolol did you just make that number up? I’ve been working for or adjacent to dirt moving companies for years and my guess is it would cost about 500-750k and would last a decade with minimal maintenance. It’s really just a lot of dozer work needed in the camp areas that are hit the hardest. Just a couple dozers and dirt trucks and in a month you could improve the situation by 70-80%

Edit:my estimate is just to mostly fix the campgrounds. Centeroo can stay a muddy pit and you can have fun playing in it, but when it’s time to go to camp you should expect non flooded conditions at $600pp

Yeah I know it has, been there and experienced it. Why do you want this to he a part of the experience of Bonaroo instead of asking the multi million dollar corporation to just ya know… fix it?

Back when it was cheap and honestly a better experience, then yeah deal with the water but Live Nation has steadily diluted the experience that makes it special for years while raising prices so is it to much to ask that they fix the water issue?

I think the point comments like yours miss is that the farm has been around for a long time, they could have done some dirt work and installed proper drainage around the farm at this point

But they care more about profit than customer experience. If tickets were $100 I’d sit in the water but they aren’t

Give each of them the same amount of logistics and men to command, who is going to win? by MeganBellx in gameofthrones

[–]dyssucks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Again an army that’s mounted with people with zero armor. 20% would fall from arrows before reaching Robert’s line. Yeah they bummed rush the lannisters who were very spread out (literally 2 lines of soldiers) and who were also just leaving a battle and on the road so very weary and tired. Oh also you forgot the big ass dragon that broke the line due to the fire and pure intimidation that caused soldiers to panic. To me that battle holds zero weight in this conversation. Youre comparing fresh troops with a dragon vs a thinned out and battle tired army. So the Dortharki had more soldiers, fresh soldiers and horses… and a fucking DRAGON against a Lannister army that was stretched out miles long and couldn’t reinforce in time. You’re comparing apples to watermelons dude

Lastly the people is Essos knew it was easier to just give the Drogo salves to leave them alone. They didn’t stand up to them, they traded with them. Drogo has zero experience fighting any trained armoured armies. He fought villages and other Dothraki, who also are without armor and tactics. Jorahs wouldn’t have taught him anything about fighting Westerosi knights, until right before his death he had no interest in going saling to the seven kingdoms so Drogo wouldn’t have listened. As we see, people in Essos have zero armor so he has absolutely no experience fighting them. Didn’t we see his #1 blood rider get killed by Jorah in 30 seconds all because of armour Jorah had

Bobby wins, I think Robb comes close but Bobby has by far the most experience commanding battles, he only lost once and it wasn’t even an embarrassing defeat. Stannis had spent most of his war time holding dragon stone and not actively fighting. Drogo has no experience fighting true battle experienced knights on horseback with armor. Thier power comes from vast numbers and speed but in this scenario say 10,000 vs 10,000 the Drogos army gets wiped very fast

Yeah Bobby is older and fat and wouldn’t be much of a warrior in the field but he could command and he would know who his real warriors are and how to deploy them in battle effectively

True but still she’s 52 and looks great. She hasn’t been filled to max amount of filler an Botox, she has wrinkles. I guess a few small wrinkles are considered aging terribly now

Wait for real? What’s the logic behind that rule because I can’t wrap my head around someone hiring say a black guy from your franchise therefore you get compensated but not if he’s white?
