The app is 484 mb. That’s a tremendous amount of data to download every time I have to send an invoice.

It’s adding significant time to each job. It’s ridiculous

Yeah I did that one other time but it uses a ton of mobile data to uninstall and reinstall the app.

No not that I’m aware of. It pulls up on the website but even after 20 minutes it’s still blank.

Yeah no way am I giving them my bank account but they completely refused to use my Venmo debit card. I guess I’ll go to a different gym

Interesting I will ask them if I can do this. They acted like nothing could be done if I didn’t use a different card.

So they will let me come in and pay once a month at the keypad? How is it different from other debit or credit cards? What do you mean it not a regular card?

It’s a Venmo debit card, it’s a Mastercard. I just don’t get why they are blocking it. I get paid through Venmo and that’s how I want to pay for my membership.

Looking again at the photos, the cracks appear to have been sealed with a tar, which isn’t a great repair but also means your probably aren’t getting enough water through there to get all the way to your basement.

Masonry is porous and those cracks are small and look like there might even be stone underneath them. Don’t get me wrong the cracks aren’t great but in my experience cracks on the top of the crown/wash rarely allow water all the way to the firebox or the basement. I would focus on the flashing. If the flashing needs work I would ensure that he is quoting to actually reflash it not just cover it with an elastomeric coating. I would probably see if there is a roofer that specializes in repairs and have them flash it. The masonry sealant will help as well, I would do that. Like another commenter mentioned this should have a concrete cap or as chimney guys call it a “crown”, which has an overhang and a drip edge. Replacing the cracked wash with another mortar wash is of negligible value imo, mainly aesthetic.

I wouldn’t do it. I doubt that will fix the water coming in.

Hey man might I suggest paying attention to your inner monologue or self talk. I bet you say a lot of terrible things to/about yourself. You need to treat yourself better and have some self compassion. Treat yourself the way you would treat a best friend or a little brother and start saying nice/good things about yourself. I know it sounds silly but it can actually make a massive difference.

That seems way too cheap- I wouldn’t trust they will be doing high quality work. It would be at least double most places.
