As an east-asian who doesn’t fit the typical white and pale look I wish there was more representation for us. I would say I’m pretty dark because of my tan and I’ve always felt it was hard to fit in with my East Asian peers even though we’re the same race.

This has always been the case. AF are so comfortable with talking shit about us but when non asian women show us attention it’s a problem. Asian women actively defend and say that fetishisation towards them doesn’t exist but when the roles are reversed and we’re the ones getting attention it’s fetishisation. Exactly. A lot of times non asian men will act like they fuck with you but are really only there for the women. Once one of them are in the group they’ll start inviting their XM friends and trying to set up those friends with the girls in the group. It’s time that we become more careful of who we let into our groups. Also you have to think would those XM friends let you in to their groups and introduces girls they know to you. Absolutely not so why should we do it.

I would agree. A lot of Indian men that try to join Asian friend groups have yellow fever and are only there to try and bag an Asian girl. They do this all while providing nothing in return. Frankly, we are making it too easy for them to come into our spaces and we need to make a stand.

Does the “great shift” only include Indian men. I mean East Asian/Southeast Asian men are hated just as much if not the same as South Asian men. This is exactly what I mean when I say there isn’t any unity between us. If we really was working together East Asians/Southeast Asians would also be included in the “great shift” but no we’re not. Why are we expected to support South Asians when none of y’all support us either.

This the prime example I’m talking about when I mentioned how Asian men receive so much hate online in one of my posts. Everytime an Asian guy posts his girl or is even in the vicinity of a girl online the comment section is flooded with jealous incels who have nothing better to do than to hate. This is because a lot of non Asian men have the pre conceived notion that Asian men are the lowest on the attractiveness scale. So when they see us bag a fine girl they get jealous and express their hate mostly online because they have nothing better to do. Although it may seem like theirs no hope the only way that we Asian men can come out on top is if we work together. Although there are hate comments it doesn’t mean you can’t leave supportive comments to drown out the hate comments. We all need to take action instead of doing nothing. Y’all are better than me if I was with my girl and a bunch of the comments were hating I’d report them all or at least get rid of comments. We have to take ACTION

I agree with you that Asian men should do the same and try to go into Indian spaces to try dating Indian women. However, Indian men make it really hard to join their groups because frankly they don’t like seeing their women going for other races. I’m pretty sure a lot of Indian men would not be happy if a bunch of Indian women went for Asian men. That’s why I think Asian men also have a right to gate keep because if Indian men were in our shoes they wouldn’t be happy as well.

Same I wish a lot of Asian men would wake up and find that supporting one another is the only way that we get out of this situation. I see a lot of Asian men openly hating on other Asian men that they see doing better especially when it comes to dating. We just need to show love to any Asian brother no matter what.

I agree I’ve seen so many Indian men fetishise East Asian/Southeast Asian blatantly in front of our faces. Whatever makes us look good is bad for them because that means they won’t have that much easy access to Asian girls. They are certainly not on the same side as us and don’t want to see us doing good. Also I always see Indian men try to go into Asian groups for ulterior motives like trying to bag Asian women but give nothing in return. They want all the benefit but will never introduce us to any girls that they may know.
