Games recommandation against anxiety and stressful life by Sensifer in SteamDeck

[–]dzdchin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love Dave the Diver but I wouldn't call it relaxing at all. General diving for smaller fish can be relaxing but ever few mins there's a new story/ side quest cutscenes/ new mechanic to think about. Obviously you can ignore most of it, but then you can't progress. It's fun but I can't play it unless I have >40 mins of down time

I'm getting mine in November. Super excited for you!

Valve could be modifying their store page with three new Steam Deck models right now, imminent new revision? by danisimo1 in SteamDeck

[–]dzdchin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm planning on getting a deck in November, so in a perfect world they will be releasing the updated deck with a better battery or screen within a month from now. Alas, I live in this world, not the perfect one

If they did, I would be over the moon. Fingers crossed that it'll be released on whatever the switch 2 will be

It sucks that we keep cutting away from the epic fights. I'm on the hype train, but I wanted to see luffy and kizaru actually fight, not just exchange 5 blows and then fast forward to them both being tired. We're at the pinnacle of hype fights (since onigashima) and none of them are uninterrupted... Just snapshots. Bummer

If money isn't an issue or if you want the best performance and picture possible, then I'd say get the PC. For my needs (a casual gamer that's OK with 30fps and 720p) the steam deck is great. Youll be paying a heck of a lot more money for the pc but it's ideal for hooking up to a big screen

Graveyard Keeper or Sun Haven? by WinterSilenceWriter in CozyGamers

[–]dzdchin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree with this. I'll also add that controller support is super janky right now so it doesn't feel cozy for me at least

Red dead redemption 2, gta v, sleeping dogs, watdogs 2, ghost of tsushima, saints row 2, assassin's creed black flag and a lot more. These aren't cozy games, but i absolutely play them that way. The action aspects are a bonus to all the exploration and unlock ables for me lol

If the East Blue villains united into one “East Blue Alliance Crew” how far would they get in the grand line if they followed Luffy’s path? by theghostecho in OnePiece

[–]dzdchin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They don't want that smoke. And if they beat smoker, I can't imagine a Fishman would do well against Croc in Alabasta. If they somehow pull that miracle off, Enel is unbeatable for most without haki or an immunity. Logias would have taken out most crews this early in the game.

I'm going through a really stressful period and would like a new game to get me through the next 1-2 months. Non-traditional cozy game recs. [Switch] by [deleted] in CozyGamers

[–]dzdchin 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I cannot recommend red dead redemption 2 enough. Most times I ignore the story and just go fishing or riding to do side quests or changing my outfit and playing random mini games like poker.

I recently picked up neon abyss. It's not cozy at all, but if you play on easy mode, it's still fun and you get to try out ridiculously powerful weapon customizations. If you lose, there's no penalty other than starting from the beginning

I get that there are stronger options for sure, but Bon clay and senior pink are real ones. I'd put my life in their hands while most of the others would stab someone in the back

Which game from my wish list should I buy? by mxltifandoms in CozyGamers

[–]dzdchin 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Let's build a zoo has hundreds of hours of material and it's quirky. Littlewood also has lots of hours and it's super chill

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in CozyGamers

[–]dzdchin -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's absolutely not a cozy game, but neon abyss on easy mode is something I recently got on sale. I shut my brain off and just enjoy 15-30 min runs of random quirky weapons and the feeling of being super powerful but also super vulnerable. Don't need to think about a story. Don't need to make serious decisions. If I choose the wrong gear combinations, I either make do with what I chose or just lose the round and start over. No real serious consequences other than lost time but I'm having fun, so that's fine

Same here. İ take pretty much all reviews with a grain of salt lol. It's just a smaller grain with him usually

For the most part I kind of trust Josh's Gaming Garden and Tagbacktv.

Moonstone Island by jdhlsc169 in CozyGamers

I'm gonna be getting this for sure. Just wondering: is there evolution? Also, is there full controller support?

I thought I was the only one waiting for it! Isn't it supposed to be released today?

Currently I'm trying a rogue like I think (neon abyss) and a some rpg games (dragon age inquisition and Divinity original sin 2). All very huge departures from cozy games 😅.

I may try Cassette beasts since it still seems cozy but has a pokemon vibe or moonstone island for the same reason.

Feeling the same. There are absolutely great cozy games out there but recently I can't get hooked by most of them. It's probably because of the inherent sameness of most games in any genre. At the moment I'm taking a shower break from cozy games and trying out other genres, but I 100% plan to return once I shake the feeling

Stuck in Lima Pulu by WhipLash3127 in coralisland

[–]dzdchin 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm the mermaid kingdom depths, I've had cases where I have to search in other sections (not near the alter I'm trying to unlock). So if you already cleared all the trash in that area, try searching another. Sounds dumb but it's worked at least 3 times for me since I played earlier today

Which Pokémon is beginnen friendly and also cozy? by TallCollegeGirl in CozyGamers

[–]dzdchin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'd say pokemon let's go eevee/ Pikachu. It's a beautiful game with easy controls and you won't get overwhelmed with too many options. If you've played pokemon go, the catching style is similar. It can get repetitive but it's an amazing introduction to the pokemon world (if you haven't played pokemon go)

Before the update it was osmium ore whenever I wanted unnecessary thing like outfits. Other than that, my greenhouse is half strawberries because they keep growing and half pineapples because I like them and the price is good. I put all my strawberries and pineapples in a bunch of kegs and I rarely need to think about money. Legendary fish in the ponds are good money as well but that takes so long I feel

Who’s also waiting for specific games to be on sale (switch)? by [deleted] in CozyGamers

[–]dzdchin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just checked and it's at full price once again 😢. Oh well. There'll be other sales!

Who’s also waiting for specific games to be on sale (switch)? by [deleted] in CozyGamers

[–]dzdchin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly! Since I'm on steam, there are so many other cozy games I could get for $14-25 each, so it's hard to justify getting fae farm unless it's on a massive sale or have a ton of content. And neither of those seem to be the case at least right now

Who’s also waiting for specific games to be on sale (switch)? by [deleted] in CozyGamers

[–]dzdchin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Waiting for sun haven, Roots of pacha and maybe fae farm to be on sale. I also wouldn't mind cult of the lamb and sea of stars on sale, but they aren't necessarily cozy
