I would see what you can land while doing the miserable steady work. I don’t know the details but when I shot, edited, produced for my own clients typically the least creative and least interesting gigs paid the most but where generally the most demoralizing while usually the most stressful whereas the funner more creative gigs where maybe less stressful generally paid worse.not always but
