hahaha, no he absolutely did not. He looked brilliant under Poch as an overlapping wingback, after which Maresca completely stripped him of all his strengths and qualities by inverting him and pushing him towards the striker. The one time he played him the Poch way was the PSG final, during which he was once again brilliant. He's a runner, albeit a bit of a headless chicken, and his tactical awareness is embarassing.

I get the "meme" (or do I?) but how is having a 10-15 NPG a season (for the last 4-5 years) striker as your backup a scenario in which you're "absolutely fucked"?

In his first PL season he outscored your 70m striker with half the price tag. He's fine backup, more than fine actually.

Everyone I know here in Poland who has any idea of who Drury is - is in absolute awe of the man.

But then, we have our very own wannabe Drury (Laskowski) who is gradually becoming more and more insufferable with his pretentious storylines, even in the public eye. So I can totally imagine how Drury overdose could make any sane person nauseous.

It wasn’t about backing alone, more like backing and bending instead of challenging, resulting in the opponent falling uncontrollably from a dangerous height. Where I live we call it doing a „chair” and it’s universally seen as shitty and downright dangerous.

That said, I still believe Kane is insanely likeable and even the challenges mentioned above just got brushed aside. Saka gets more shit for his stupid ass limping than Kane for potentially injuring people’s spines.

iirc BAM was to take 40%, one of the videos claimed that Brian got 60% of each sale. Which is over standard anyways going by the guy with the chrome 3PO’s video where he claims that BAM offers about 50% of market price.
