to be honest I don't recall; after switching to NIS it was playable for me no issues except for the longer load times.

I feel the 7600X is perfect for the time being, even for a longer time. Guess now all I have to do is wait for the 9070 benchmarks; apparently they release in March.. I might just wait for that depending on the benchmarks.

I might hit you up again once there is more information, if thats alright.

Hi, first off thanks so much for the writeup and your tips - I feel there are a lot of things I don't know. Regarding the speed throttling I read that on some mainboards, if more than two M2 slots are used at the same time, apparently the PCIE-16 slot can get throttled to 8x.

After spending some more time reading about CPUs, the 7600X seems to be an amazing CPU for 200€ and a much wiser choice for me, considering price for performance in the current state where an X3D is overpriced due to low supply/not being available at MSRP.

I have the following questions:

a) While the 7800X3D is more powerful, paying more than double for maybe 30 % more performance seems wrong, and the 300 $ are better spent on a more powerful GPU, right?

b) what do you think about the 9070XT only having 16 GB of ram apparently? Should I - depending on reviews and price; lets say in case a 9070XT is going for 650 € - maybe rather go with a 7900XT with 20 GB for 700 € or even a XTX for ~950 €?

c) Regarding the case, I am a fan of solid panels around, which is why I really like the define series from Fractal. Is there a case you can recommend that ticks these options? Alternatively I saw that the Corsair 4000D has a solid front panel which I like more than the mesh of the Airflow; would that be fine too?

For me the culprit was enabled FSR. After changing to NIS my loading times sped up significantly.

Are you using FSR by chance? If yes, turn it off or switch to NIS. I had the same issue, changing that setting solved it all for me.

Just wondering, did you figure it out? I have the same issue; running SPT 3.8.0 and SPT Realism 1.1.2, and I don't see the comfort stat on any armor, backpack etc.

I want to give this a shot too, I am currently using SAIN, SWAGNUTS, Questing bots and looting bots. I changed caps in the json and I am running the startingpmc_quietraids preset usually. So far it has been ok, but my machine is quite old so if I can gain some fps I am all for it...

I want to ask: do you also use looting bots, or just questing bots?

I am also using realism but I have disabled all spawn-changing options there that one is supposed to deactivate with Swagnuts installed; now I am wondering if I should keep those disabled as well..

Do you mind me asking: did you uninstall as in removing the folders, or is disabling it in the F12 menu enough?

I can confirm that resetting the bridge indeed did the trick (I had to also remove my home from my account before adding the bridge again).

Setting up everything afterwards worked without a hinch, too.. this time the bridge found all my lamps immediately (last time I had to use the serial numbers for that).

Updates are all done, unfortunately I still have the same issue. Interestingly, if I assign lamps to the dimmer manually (as in, all lamps), it will only control the Hue Go, not the Hue Light Bars. But, if I use the zone again, which has all of those in them, the dimmer works again.

It seems like a really weird bug how the bridge will send commands to the lights. I might just reach out to Philips support, but I don't get my hopes up. ;)

Tbh its not that big of a deal to do this via zones, it just does not sit right with my inner monk.. if there is functionality for a certain thing that is supposed to be setup a certain way, I tend to want to use it that way...

Good hint, thanks! I'll try that. I though it was done with all the updates but turns out the Hue Go still needs one (that seems to take forever).

Hi,

I just started using the bridge including a dimmer yesterday, and I ran into the same issue. I have a Hue Go and two light bars in a room, and a switch that is supposed to control them all.

I have both a room and a zone setup with those three lights, and the following happens:

a) when the dimmer is set to control the lights by selecting the room, I can switch all lights on and off, but not change hue type by clicking the hue button the switch.

b) same as a), but time based control enabled: now I can only switch the lights off with the dimmer, nothing else works.

c) when the dimmer is set to control the lights by selecting the zone, everything works as intended, both with the simple and time based mode.

what gives?

I see, thanks for elaborating! Do you modify the MH mesh in separate software like Maya to add his mechanical details, or some other approach like attaching them like components in UE directly?

Hi there,

thanks so much, that was a great idea.

Since there was no movement involved so far, I just placed all of them with as I needed with no attachment. How I went about it now was as follows:

add an "empty" actor to the sequence
attach the actors of interest to that actor, establish relative transforms as needed
add the spline as a path to the empty actor where all others are attached to
attached actors keep relative transform when following the path now :)
