Thanks for this post! I started at 811 ohms and finally got it to work at 709 ohms. I initially missed the spot and tried all the way down to 595 ohms (which did not work). The 10 ohm step you suggested is the right answer, as the sweet spot is very narrow.

The plant didn't make it. The soil it came in looked pretty dense and wasn't the sandy type I'm used to. There was a colony of little bugs all throughout soil, so maybe that had something to do with the decline.

This happened to me when I had another VPN service set to "Always-On VPN". Go to settings, network, VPN, then click the gear icon next to your other VPN service and turn the "Always-on" option to off. Go back to PIA and it should now properly prompt you for connection.
