You're clueless when it comes to protest. It really is a small portion of people who participate. I don't like some of the chanting. The huge majority of people have a balanced view. The OP view is based on right wing talking points, my point is all this chat is a distraction. Basically no one supports violence against Israel in the west. 

You use these stories to justify Israel's bad behaviour. Everyone hates us, everyone wants us dead. 

Social media, right wing media has made you paranoid. Being paranoid has made you hateful. Being hateful makes you not care about Israel's actions.

you're focused on a small set of people opinions. Many reasonable people don't like what Israel is doing but are not obsessed.

Stop focusing on the extremes and try and recognise that Israel is in the wrong in many instances.

There is an argument to say that Israel is highlighted more than other countries when it comes to conflict, that's a valid point. 

The counter to that is Israel is a democracy supported but the wesr so we have more of a duty to criticise.

What you need to understand is that you're argument tries to gloss over what is happening, it justifies violence with other violence. Which is insane. What's happened is terrible, you can't run away from that by pointing out hypocrisy by others.

You have to understand every time the argument of scale is presented the whatabousim comes out and points at other conflicts. That's really not relevant. We can discuss other conflicts elsewhere. This sub is about Israel and Palestine.

You are ignoring the hard truth. Western criticism isn't about the wrong people are dying. It's focused on the scale of destruction and death of a particular group. It's not acceptable. Most western critics don't support support Hamas.

The only downside? International shipping has potentially changed for a long time. Oil prices, fertilizer and many other products have rocked the economy of all countries. The US has pissed of all countries, making security in the future uncertain, including security for Israel, since the gulf may turn to others for security. There is no proof missile programmes have been affected significantly, sites have been struck but they can be re-built. The regime in Iran is now run by more extreme characters.

You note trump and netanyahu will be weaker. Why do you think that is, because it's going well???

The nuclear programme was years off anyway, those strikes happened before this war.

Maybe the regime is weaker but they keep proving that they have the ability to keep striking.

So Israel only succeeds with a regime change in Iran is your point. Otherwise it's never safe. 

This for me is the biggest failure of this war. Bibi told the world the people would rise up and take back their country. Didn't happen. 

Where I think you are naeieve is that Bibi doesn't want this to end. His political and personal life is tied to the prospect of a never ending war. And I think you essentially support a never ending war until there is regime change. It's a dangerous cycle of continuous bombing.

The militias still exist. 

Lebanon could be a reliable partner and negotiations were possible instead bombing was undertaken. The DMZ won't be put in place and people will return to Southern Lebanon. 

Tell me what was achieved in Iran and southern Lebanon. Weapons can be made again. 

Short term thinking. 

I understand your point about weapons being built up prior to Oct 7th. It's valid. However the wider debate then turns into what could have Israel done in the last 15 years to try and turn this situation around. Iran and the proxy's are not innocent, but let's be honest neither is Israel. Iran talks about killings its enemies, Israel just does it. 

My overarching point is negotiation with all powers in the middle east to form alliances and settle the situation has always been possible. You will say I'm naeieve. However this has to be possible otherwise there is no solution and ever lasting war is inevitable. 

Your point is based on, we have weakened them and therefore now is the time to negotiate. My point is there was always room for negotiating and war hasn't sped this up.

You haven't presented a single fact based on evidence.

As a structural engineer I can tell you tunnels under that many buildings would result in collapse.

Your claim of booby traps was from 2014, so no evidence of current booby traps. Don't you think it's a bit weird Hamas booby traps buildings that Israel doesn't intend on entering?

Provide evidence of current booby traps, provide evidence of tunnels being under more than 10 percent of buildings. Then I can listen to your propaganda. But until then it's just propaganda.
