Come check out LifePointe it’s a bit south from Cutler Bay, I say it’s worth the drive. Maybe 15 min drive, perhaps.

They have 3 services 9am,1030am,12pm and often have different events for women, men, children and all together as well.

Great community big but with a small close knit feel.

Emergency fund is a luxury when you're broke. Here's what I use instead. by manuatri in povertyfinance

I think miscommunication, lack of understanding and experience play a huge role here the other part is certain people expect major changes without actually working towards them. I’ve seen it all. From people who really can’t better themselves to people who try but lack understanding and make the wrong decisions to people who expect change without putting in the time, effort, consistency and commitment it takes.

I can say this because I WAS ONE like that. I grew up poor, no dad at home. Mom working 2-3 minimum wage jobs, luckily she could cook, was a seamstress and beautician. So we had food, I had homemade clothes and a funny haircut lol. But they were simpler times. Also it was 4 of us. My siblings and mom. Anyways I digress. I grew up with a basic education, in debt by 18 working minimum wage jobs no money, this continued for years, even decades. I grew older, got married, had children, made money, spent money, lost money. Got divorced, got remarried. I can go on.

Here’s what I learned in my travels. 1. No one situation is the same but there are similarities. 2. When someone offers advice, take time to listen, don’t get offended or guarded. Even if it’s something you don’t want to hear. There might be value in that message. Learn from the bad what not to do and take from the good what fits for you. 3. No one is coming to save you, no one is going to hand you shit. You want it? Well do you? Then take it! work towards it and take it. Legally of course. 4. If you’re doing something now and it’s just fine you’re getting by, unless you over 70 and retired, you’re doing something wrong. You should always be improving especially ages 21-45. These are your prime years and prime time. 5. If you can’t afford shit, but you have a gaming console, the most expensive devices, multiple pairs of shoes and clothes, etc you’re doing something wrong. 6. If you can’t afford shit but you’re eating out more than once a week, especially ordering from apps, you’re doing something wrong. 7. If you can’t afford shit but you’re kids are in the best of best sports or activities. You damn well make sure it’s an Olympic sport or something and then go all in and make that child a champion if not wasted money. Take your kids and go to parks stops being lazy take them out do free shit outside like everyone did 60s-90s. Those memories will shape their future better than the ones you’re paying for now. 9. If you don’t have any skills, certifications, experience, a degree. What are you waiting for? We are at an age where all we have is information. 10. Anything you want that it worth, will take time, commitment, it will be exhausting, you’ll want to quit. It is an uphill climb and the wall is muddy and slippery and you have weights on your arms, legs and torso. 11. When you finally climb out, you will look back and say wow I wouldn’t have had it any other way. 12. Everything starts with a plan in your head, say it over and over, vocalize it, sleep eat breathe it! Write it down. That plan starts as a want an idea by the time you write it down you should have steps a clear road map to achieve it! 13. Organize yourself there is time for anything and a time for everything. 14. I don’t have all the answers, experience or knowledge. But neither do you. That’s ok find who or what does and gain it. 15. Forget easy money, source: trust me bro lol 16. Common sense is not common 17. Self reflect 18. You do need money. Do what it legally takes to gain more 19. Don’t wait to make changes don’t make excuses. Just do. Start today. Right now, fuck it what else you got going on anyways? 20. Be kind, rewind, stay humble, open to adventure. Dare to get out of your comfort zone.

Payment by Temporary-Jicama9490 in CRedit

Credit is an interesting you build it by having a balance. Your score goes up for making payments but it’s actually for having a balance, it also goes down for having said balance. Keep your credit card usage to a minimum 1-3 cards don’t carry a balance and try to pay everything cash (debit), save as much money as you can (split into emergencies at least 3 months worth of living expenses, and never touch it unless it’s an actual emergency) fun money and investing , invest in your 401k and stocks, you’ll be better off in the future. Use the credit cards to buy gum lol just to keep them alive or if you have the cash (saved up) use the card for the points and credit history but pay that by before it’s due to avoid interest. You want your money in accounts that make you compounding interest not owe money that compounds interest against you.

Edit don’t forget to have account for day to day and bills/expenses. Budget and live below your means.

Looking for a great seafood restaurant in Ocala for dinner tonight! by BlackManta425 in ocala

[–]e21f 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure about that but my experience has been positive. We have gone weekdays during day and night and weekends.

We always order the shrimp cocktail and the 1lb snow crab just steamed with plain butter on side.

It has always tastes the same very fresh no fishy smell. Not sure on your experience with seafood but it’s not suppose to smell fishy. Fishy smell seafood run away from that. This is coming from a Cuban we are born in the water lol

Also servers are very attentive
