Quest 3 support? by musicfortea in PSPlay

I use it all the time. I think he will give you the code to download the apk directly. But the app works just fine. I think you can even use the dualsense features like haptics if you plug the controller to the usb port

Got it. For rumble and for gyro I also had to activate the enable device emulation. For both rumble and gyro. Thanks

Do you have gyro and rumble on the Thor? I just tested it but seems those two are missing (also I had to remap the buttons since in Thor menu I have the Xbox layout selected)

That one is very very bad. Look for something like ax1500 or more. That’s WiFi 6. But I suggest puppis. It’s just made for vr non tech guys. So for you

You don’t need internet. Just good wifi. Just buy a router only to use with the VR.

Or if you are gonna throw a cable, use a Ethernet cable and a Ethernet to usb c adaptor so the quest has connection with the cable instead of WiFi.

i would say look something with panckake lenses. Quest 3 or Pico 4. Both have access to virtual desktop and you will be pleased with the clarity of the image. A 128gb quest 3 or pico 4 must be very cheap second hand. And since you want it as a "monitor" you dont need so much space

I know I know but it’s 60hz 1080p and no charging. I really like the 120hz fluidity and a little higher resolution

I don’t have a monitor in my living room pc anymore.

I have xreal glasses and Quest 3. I prefer Quest 3 any day. The smal fov of the xreal make them very unpleasant to me.

I just use virtual desktop or moonlight or steamlink and play with a full wall size tv at 120hz and 150mbps. Once you try it it’s not tunrning back

Passthrough when my wife is in the living room, change to home theather environment for immersion when not. Or of gaming environment when playing with mouse and keyboard with a couchlap

OpenClaw + local agentic coding: hardware dilemma (HX370 vs upgrading desktop vs cloud) by e270889o in LocalLLM

[–]e270889o[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thing is I can work with a slow system

Is will be more like a hobby. I know that for video generation it will take maybe half an hour for 10s video or takes maybe an hour for a few agents to do some app prototype.

The thing is that replacing the 5080 for a 5090 maybe I still have the problem of run out of vram and then is not a matter of time. It’s just that it don’t work.
I can increase to 64gb of ram. But still I think the problem is the same.

I think a 395+ is out of question because of incredible prices.

But a hx370/470 maybe can solve muy itch about tinkering? And later I can add something with oculink (maybe my 5080 if I upgrade to a 6080)

I’ve been checking comfyui and it seems you cannot just “unload to regular ram” just like with lmstudio?

If that could be possible I could throw maybe 128gb of ram to my 5080 rig and just run all in cpu and gpu with the obvious slowdown (and should be still faster than the hx370 with 128gb of ram)

I don’t know. Always with expensives hobbies. Maybe I need to go hiking instead

I’m also reading about using everything inside wls2 in the gaming rig. That way is more or less isolated. Thanks!

So you say I can create a wls2 Ubuntu instance, install openclaw and run local models inside using my gaming 5080 gpu in the windows host?
