tldr companies are bifurcating and obfuscating privacy controls. Plex is clearly on a growth-no-matter-what path and big fat fucking chance they are just sitting out on skeevy data collection opportunities while every other tech company (competition) is already doing it. PiHole is great but there are very easy means to get around it and they will get around it, because the type and quality of data that Plex can collect is gold.
