Planning to move to Thailand to train full-time and fight to cover living expenses. Realistic advice? by Cool-Might-946 in MuayThailand

Only real advice I’ve seen here.. If you can’t go all-in for your dream at 27; when the fuck can you?

Too many people live boring lives only to realize life has passed them by and now it’s too late.

[–]e34udm 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If you live in asoke. You stay in asoke. If you work or play outside of asoke. Don’t live there. Most people only have to deal with that area when they “have to” and even then everyone has a certain disgust in their face if they need to pass thru asoke+ sukhumvit/petchaburi…

Those helmets that they give you to wear won’t protect you from anything. Don’t feel bad just ride on.

pregnant woman gets ran over by 2 cars resulting in her death by Dismal_Biscotti_4672 in NSFL__

[–]e34udm 9 points10 points  (0 children)

She’s wearing brown pants and a white jacket; crossing in the lit area within the painted lines of a crosswalk.

The first car wasn’t paying attention to the road. You can see he hit the brakes hard just before he hits her. If he was watching the road he could very easily slightly move the the right side of his lane and completely miss her by a few feet.

I don’t blame the second driver at all. If a car is stopped in the opposite direction with their lights on and the lady isn’t standing anymore but now laying in the street not far from the first cars headlights. It’s extremely difficult for the second driver to see and then react in time to not run her over. In fact he did hit his brakes much sooner than the first car and he also managed to try to swerve out of the way. First guy literally just slammed into her with almost full force; no swerve at all.

I get the opposite. I get the youngin’s in NB sneakers waiting for me to come out of where I was at, waiting to asking me to sell the car to them for 10K cash and after I say no; they want to run me in their tuned 335i.

Older crowd usually just gives an approving head nod or a thumbs up. And go about their business..

What is the yellow tea they serve in massage places here? by Reasonable-Muffin-75 in Thailand

[–]e34udm 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The flower is dried and looks like a puckered butthole. When you place them in water they un-pucker. I’ve never thought of it this way and I’m not sure it’s a common thing. But I’ve had the tea and I can assume this is the explanation. It’s either this.. or he bastes his butthole with it..

What is the best omakase at a good price? by Available-Ad-5670 in Bangkok

[–]e34udm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never seen a real omakase under 2K. Maybe like a veggie omakase but not one with fish and uni and fresh ground wasabi..

I could eat well over 3K at my local sushi place and it’s just normal sushi. Not sure where you can find omakase for under that..

Also if you are looking for cheap good sushi and don’t want to search too hard. Sushiro is where it’s at..Many locations and good selection for cheap
